Ice cream was too thick (high fat), was almost like licking on half frozen butter stick. looks pretty and yummy, but the taste doesn't match the looks. My family couldn't finish it, we all threw it away.

Mediocre. Quality of both taiyaki and ice cream is not very good.

In and Out. Extremely smooth process. I built my on ice cream - Green Tea w/ Oreo in a red bean fish tail. Really good nightcap :)!

The ice cream and fish shaped waffles are fine, but way overpriced.

ice cream is so good!! Love all the options. Inside is nothing special with no places to sit FYI!

The first time I tried Taiyaki NYC was in NY, of course, but the quality for the Boston location is the same. Very picturesque desserts that will satisfy a sweet craving. I got the unicorn and matcha sesame, which were both tasty. They taste especially good when the taiyaki cone is fresh and warm, but be sure to eat it quick in the summer if you want to avoid a sticky mess!

Everytime I walk by the line is always out the door. For ice cream?! I ask myself. After tonight, I finally get it! The fish shaped cones are made fresh and you can fill it with either red bean or custard. With so many ice cream filling options it's so hard to choose from let alone the 2 free toppings at the end to top it all off. They offer a create your own option or a menu to order from. I had the custard filled fish cone with a mix of matcha and hojicha ice cream dusted with graham cracker dust and a skewer of mochi. The ice cream was so refreshing with such a smooth consistency. The mochi was so fresh and chewy. But the best part of it all. Was the fish cone. That last perfect bite with cone, custard, and a little bit of ice cream made it all worth it for me! I finally get the hype now!

The ice cream is really good, and the taiyaki is really good as well. They are made fresh, and the other sauce and decor at the place is so nice. They don't necessarily have a indoor seating space so you will have to stand while eating. or they just have limited amount of seatings.

This place is super small but a must try. The ice cream and cone were delicious and it was super cute had to take some pics. I'll definitely go back I just wish I could have seen the options better before I ordered as there was a Christmas special that I definitely would have gotten if I saw it.#desert #seaport#Boston#Massachusetts #icecream#redbean#custard

Sweet deliciousness Fish shaped ice cream cones!!! Need I say more?!Cold ice cream... warm cone! Their taiyaki waffles are made fresh on-site, and their soft serve ice cream is produced and churned in small batches making it wicked fresh & creamy. Small space, but perfect location set in the Boston Seaport district. Friendly staff & a whole lot of different flavor options to satisfy any pallet. Highly recommended if you're ever in the area looking for a light delight of sweetness.

It's very small inside with no seating available. We didnt have to wait as we were the only customers during weekday lunch time. We both got Straight Outta Japan (swirl of matcha and hojicha with red bean-filled taiyaki. The ice cream was delicious. But the red bean filling was almost not existent, and the taiyaki was soft. I would prefer it if it had a bit of crunchiness outside. Also, I didn't eat the unicorn mochi. Overall, it was still delicious!

Pretty affordable place to get dessert after walking around / dining out nearby. There tends to be a queue when the weather’s warm, not so much when it gets chilly. Ice cream’s just regular soft serve with different kinds of sprinkles if you get them. The taiyaki/bread portion tastes nice though.
