We stopped in on a Saturday late afternoon and there was plenty of seating available. The space was bigger than expected with booth seats and table seating. We were seated at a booth and it was quite comfortable. We ordered the Beef hot soup and the Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup. No substitutions allowed but we chose to omit a couple ingredients. The medium spicy is quite spicy so I would recommend going milder and using the chili dipping sauce on the side. Both broths were flavorful enough that you don't necessarily need the soy garlic sauce provided. I immediately turned off the flame under the hot pot because I didn't want the beef to overcook. I do wish there was an option to turn it back on without having to call someone over to light it again. Lunch meals come with a choice of iced green tea or black tea and choice of white rice or vermicelli. Tea was already sweetened, might've been a tad sweet for my liking though. Wait staff was efficient and friendly. There is a call bell on the table that alerts staff that you need something, otherwise they are not really checking up on you. Overall a solid satisfying lunch!

You get ALOT for just one person. I think you could spend less than $25 a person here which isn't bad. I went here thinking it was "traditional" hot pot, with the stove in the table. In actuality, it's your own personal hot pot served with alot of food. Aside from the delicious boba (Tiger Pearl milk tea + the Strawberry milk tea!) , the food itself.. chefs kiss. For service, I wish there was more autonomy with the staff but they have call buttons on every table so if you're expecting someone to check in, don't. Nothing crazy with the ambiance but I think with a group (more than 2 people), I'm not too sure how that would work - the servings are HUGE. I parked near TJ Maxx because Brighton/Alsston parking is very questionable but I would recommend, whether you're traveling by train or car.

I like hot pot, and the good things about Tasty Pot is you can start as soon as the pot gets to the table. Everything is already in and cooked. I foolishly ordered extra meat and sides thinking the one pot won't fill me up. Boy was I wrong, they really fill up your pot with all the ingredients. I left 120% full.

Now that it's winter, it's hot pot season! Tasty Pot differentiates itself from other hot pot restaurants because everyone gets their own individual pot so you don't have to worry about people's preferences and allergies. It's also nice that it's a set menu so this makes ordering easier than just having to customize your pot (but you can add or remove ingredients if requested). Each item on the menu (13 to choose from) has a name with the ingredients inside listed. You can addon additional meat, vegetables, sides, rice, or noodle for extra. The pot that they bring the food out on has a fire underneath so I recommend turning it down or turn it off so that the meat doesn't become too hot or overcooked. They also serve bubble tea here which was okay, but with so many bubble tea options around I would probably get it somewhere else. I would recommend the Thai Flavor Hot Soup (Sour Flavor Broth, Crab, Octopus, Mussel, Shrimp, Tempera, Meatball, Crabmeat, Cuttlefish) and Lamb Hot Soup (Sweet Flavor Broth, Lamb, Fish Cake, Kamaboko, Clam, Enoki Mushroom). The food here is very affordable at between $18-26 and it's a fair serving portion. The service here is pretty solid, they have a bell that you can press at the front of the table that makes a little noise to alert the server. However, they checked on us frequently enough that this wasn't necessary. One con is that the sauces are limited to just the three that you see on the table (Soybean Chili Sauce, Soy Garlic, and Chili Oil). There is a 10% discount if you pay in cash. You can add yourself to the waitlist or check for wait times on yelp. There is free Wi-Fi with password login.

Single serving pots with delicious comforting flavors for a simple meal especially when sick or feeling cold! Got the Thai pot and the Taiwanese pot and really liked both. Also big portions and affordable. Highly recommend for a comfort meal!

Tasty pot is honestly my favorite and go-to place for hot pot. The staff is incredibly amazing! The broth options are endless and each one of them is so delicious! The amount of food on each hot pot is the perfect amount for one person, if you have a big appetite. If not, even perfect to share with another person.

Food is very consistent as always. Come here a lot!!!!! All the time. But lately the boss with the cap said you can't bring your own drink own here my boss will be watching on surveillance camera will have something to say. You have to buy our drinks. Let me take your drink and out it in our fridge. That really ticked me off. I told him you are the boss. (he never does anything there except to watch his cell phone while others work) So don't bring any outside drinks or it will be confiscated or you would have to leave. They wrapped it up with saran wrap. After I took it back I threw the drink away completely. You have very good soup in your restaurant already why bother to make mixed fruit teas? Just focus on the tasty pot. And no one wants to eat pig's blood. The server dudes are always nice though. I will still come back but less than before.

This place is honestly great! I have gone to a place similar before in Flushing, NY and was so excited to see that there was a place that serves hot pot that is already prepared in a pot. Personally I love traditional idea of hotpot where you add ingredients into a boiling pot and wait till it's ready but I enjoy this concept of hotpot much more! Sometimes I don't want to manually have to put in food and wait. I like that everything is put into a pot for you and ready to eat. The pot provides enough food to get full off of and you can choose what you would like in it.

The ramen seafood was delicious and just the right amount to be full. Fast friendly service got seated quick in a full restaurant. We even got parking quick too. Plenty of choices but we both got the seafood ramen I'm sure it's going to get pact once cold weather comes. Gotta return to try other items on that menu. Ambiance is nice and fair don't expect it to be quiet when it's busy all the time expect to wait a little but worth it. See you soon!!!

When I went it was a Tuesday night and not to busy, food tasted delicious and the place was quite enough that our my friend and I could have a conversation and hear each other. I like that you could pick your spice level but even mild was like for me so just be cautious. Food came out quick and was in a very cool bowl. In photos it does look bigger than in person but does have some depth to it and is a good portion size. You don't feel too stuffed or still hungry a good medium.

WOW! I went on a Saturday night with a few friends and can I just say what an authentic experience we had. We ordered bubble teas to start and then ordered #7 hot pot. It came beautifully displayed in a bowl over a hot flame. The food was amazing and we were able to experience foods we had never tried before. The service was great very attentive. Each table had a call button which was very convenient. The place it's self was very casual and plenty of seating for a Saturday night.

I ordered the Sichuan flavored hot soup with vermicelli and rose milk green tea. The rose milk green tea was honestly just alright. It did not have much rose nor tea flavor, so I would not get it again. I was not a huge fan of this Sichuan flavor hot soup, but I did enjoy most of the ingredients present in the hotpot. The quality of the ingredients is honestly less impressive than those you can buy from a local Chinese supermarket, but it had a nice variety. You would be able to get a decent variety of ingredients all in one pot as compared to other places where you have to order them a la carte. I do wish the restaurant allows you to choose your own toppings, but this place is nice for those who are new to hotpot and do not want to make their own decisions. I have tried their kimchi dumpling hot soup before and much prefer that broth over the one I recently ordered. The Sichuan one is also slightly pricier due to the larger sizing of the pot. Overall, the meal was quite filling, but I would not come back on my own accord.
