i'm taiwanese and have always loved getting boba so I have pretty high expectations! still, the mango slush did not disappoint. you can't add brown sugar boba to some of the drinks so I opted for the "blue pearls" (seem to taste the same but maybe more firm? or less sweet) which you can add for an extra dollar. there were good chunks of mango and a good ratio of boba to the drink! (see picture for size difference) will definitely revisit if i'm in the area but kinda pricey (paid 8 for large) as a student so i wish there was a student discount.

The service here is very slow as other reviews have mentioned, but has gotten worse recently. Today I waited 30 minutes for my order of two drinks. I felt bad for the employee who was working alone as the orders piled up; it looked like there was a catering order or something similar they were working on in addition to all the usual late afternoon traffic.Ten One has the tastiest boba on Newbury St, but unfortunately the service takes so long (~10 min even when the store is empty) that I can't recommend it to other patrons.

A small bubble tea shop on Newbury street. Really good flavors. I recommend trying their osmanthus flavored teas. Easy to order screens with customizable options.

Overall a very different type of boba tea place than your typical place cashing in on their big trend. In my opinion, Ten One's claim to fame is their tea first. The boba is secondary here, and that is not a bad thing.ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 9/10The atmosphere is a great fusion of modern vibes with classical traditional themes and I think it is well put together and appears as a classy establishment. Also, the aroma of tea is very strong when you walk in through the door.SERVICE: 9/10Service is fast and when you walk in, you can order everything on the touch screen, streamlining the entire process. My drink was in my hands before I knew it!FOOD: 8/10Ten One Milk Green Tea with Blue Butterfly Boba - 8/10 - The green tea in this drink is fantastic. Very fragrant and is clearly built upon that foundation of excellent tea. I added the blue butterfly boba as I wanted to try it. I'm not completely sold on this boba being the way but it did have a very floral flavor. The color was pretty as well. The texture though was a little tougher and harder than regular boba. I think I will go with normal boba in the future.VALUE: 6/10It is going to run $8-9 a cup which is on the higher end.PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 9/10TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Come here and try a drink.OVERALL: 8/10

Pretty great tea! I tried the Tieguanyin and Black milk tea. The first time I came the order took a long time since it was busy but the second time it was very fast. Does anyone know if there's teas from Alishan here? My Taiwanese friend recommends it but I'm not sure where to find it.

The tea was pretty good. The lavender one had a stronger flavor while the rose was definitely more subtle. The blue boba lowkey tasted like regular boba, but the dragonfruit boba did taste a bit sour. Service was fast even though there was a line. The inside was crowded and they ran out of seating. I wish the flavors of the blue boba and rose tea came through more. I had higher hopes, but still a solid boba place!

One of my most favorite boba spots in Boston! It is conveniently on Newbury! It also has so many other locations! The drinks here are so good and fresh. I love their seasonal drinks. I really enjoyed the brown sugar milk tea, the Osmanthus Honey Oolong Milk Tea with Whipping Cream, and the Peach Yakult Slush. These were all so good and they have really unique bubbles that you can add to their drinks. The service is fast and there are a few seats in the store.

Bubble tea here is really good! Highly recommend milk green tea with tapioca, don’t recommend the oat milk. It just doesn’t taste as good. The tapioca pearls are so soft, sweet, and warm. They’re delicious. The atmosphere gets 4/5 stars only because there were boxes everywhere and it wasn’t the cutest. There are only self serve kiosks, two of them, so there was a line. I kind of miss talking to a cashier though! But overall pretty good experience.

Ten One Tea House: Mango Green Tea MedleyI tried the Mango Green Tea at Ten One Tea House. The service was disappointingly slow, even with few customers present. The staff lacked friendliness, which was a drawback.Their drinks are good, but with the growing competition from other boba shops in Newbury and Boston, they don't quite stand out, especially given the higher prices. In a bustling market, they might need that extra touch to truly shine. ? ?
