Boooo ?? severely overpriced. Didn’t realize Boston lager and Jameson was premium

2 shots of Jameson and 4 Boston Lagers was $84. Absolutely absurd. What a rip off

I got food poisoning from this place after eating the lobster, would highly recommend being careful of the shellfish served here.

Great live bands and a relaxed atmosphere. Loud on the weekend so get the drinks in early. We've been here in the evening and in the afternoon and had a good time on any occasion.

This one was a little disappointing. The food was mid. Could have gotten the same stuff pretty much anywhere like this. The atmosphere was cool but it wasn’t what I was expecting when going into an old bar. The service was good but it felt like we were being rushed along. A bit awkward when the waiter tried to take our plates when we were still working on stuff. Probably wouldn’t come back.

Cozy tavern in a historic, old area. Food is relatively average to decent, drinks are plenty, and the atmosphere is casual. Good hangout spot!

Fish and chips were so delicious, the fish was tender and flaky with a light batter, clam chowder was creamy and full of clams seasoning was light but complimented the chowder, lobster Mac and cheese was creamy and full of yummy tasting lobster, the hot lobster roll was light on garlic, so much lobster is should almost be illegal ?.

Old tavern that you can still visit today and eat a good plate of traditional cuisine from the area. It is not cheap but a normal price for Boston, we ate the clam chowder, the typical Hot Lobster Roll and a Fish and Chips. Very picturesque place.

Adam is the nicest owner you could imagine. Especially when you catch him on a slow afternoon ?

What a gem of a bar! The energy exuded by the staff and the overall ambiance make this place incredibly inviting. It's mind-blowing to think that this bar has been serving Bostonians and tourists since 1795—that's over 200 years of pouring drinks! While they offer cocktails and food, it's best not to set your expectations too high. They're good, but more in line with bar quality rather than restaurant quality. Despite being packed, the attentive staff ensures top-notch service. Plus, they accept credit cards.
