This is a little jewel of a bakery, sophisticated, delicious breads, cookies and fancy tarts...and chocolate croissants! Hidden a few doors off Center St and tiny but mighty!

Everything here!! Essentials like muffins, croissants..all homemade taste and touch. To the fancier things like cakes and pies. Delicious, simple, absolutely pleasant. I worked here shortly as well and it was one of my favorite jobs; Brad is the best!! So happy to see them thriving and being a lively crucial neighborhood joint.

Amazing everything here. And the women who run it are so nice!!! I love this spot! Definitely try any and all the breads and the brioche is top tier.

I love this small local bakery with excellent bread and pastries - I won't reveal my favorite bread so it doesn't sell out any faster!

Local bakery with a small selection of classic pies, macarons, and pastries. On a serene Saturday morning stroll through JP, I stumbled upon this charming bakery. It had a cozy, small-town bakery vibe, and manning the counter was an elderly lady, whose skilled hands and warm smile hinted at years of perfecting the art of home-style baking.Since pies seemed to be their specialty, I opted for a small pecan pie along with an assortment of small pastries. The almond croissant was decent, but the pecan pie was exceptional. It was everything a classic pecan pie should be: not excessively sweet, with a moist filling wrapped in a perfectly baked crust. Some of my other favorites included the chocolate cupcake and the halva bomb.If you're in a mood for the comfort of traditional American pies and homemade pastries, Blue Frog is definitely worth a try.

Deep Thoughts

I love this little bakery SO much. Easily one of the coolest places in Boston. And their croissants/tarts/pies/BREADPUDDINGS are my downfall... and I mean that in the best way possible.

Excellent location and space. Very trendy and delicious baked goods. The coffee is excellent as well. Don’t miss this beautiful JP jewel.

Got there bright and early, Best almond croissant and best strawberry cheese Danish I’ve had in my life ? I wish they had some savory options though (an egg and some bacon on those croissants would slap so hard)

I really like their multigrain Pullman bread! It's hardy and chewy and makes amazing toast. Great to see Rao's coffee outside of western mass too. I haven't tried the bake goods, but they sure look good!

I don't know why the lady that works the counter is so unhappy but I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with me.

Their bread & chocolate cookies are delicious. Bread is best in Boston area.

Came here today because I was in the hood and Pigs Fly was closed due to Easter. Since I had walked to the area I decided to go to Blue Frog as I was looking for a morning baked good. The woman behind the counter was rude ....there was no one in there and she acted as if me asking about an item on the menu was a waste of her time. Baked good were underwhelming, but it was the service that stood out to me. I chocked it up to she is "overwhelmed" because she is open on Easter, but based on the reviews here this is how this place rolls.
