Just stopped into The Junction in South Boston for the 1st time in years. The prices were competitive, the food was goid, but most importantly the service was outstanding. Thank you Matty.

What can I say it's a bar with good service, leave your attitude at home and you WILL have a good time ✌

I downloaded yelp to write this review because I'm a long time customer and Junction is on a slippery slope. There was nothing like some delicious bar food and a cold pop at a real BAR. Southie is full of the trendy, millennial filled upscale restaurants and our only escape WAS Junction. With these changes to the menu, the new paint on the walls, and the attempt at a "brunch" menu Junction just gave in and the people aren't happy! P.S. terrible nachos (used to be the best in southie)

First time reviewer of Junction, long time customer. Junction has been my go to spot for a while for many reasons; it's a no nonsense place, had fantastic bar food, and was never insanely crowded. In contrast to the other popular spots in southie, it was inviting, classic, and simply put perfect. The staff was nice, the food was great, nothing to complain about. Since it's recent acquisition from the Boston Restaurant Group, Things have gone significantly downhill. They took away the charm of the bar, changed the menu FOR THE WORSE, and they're planning on changing the layout. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I love Lincoln, loco, capo and fat baby, this is no slight to them, however they shouldn't change Junction. If I want to go to those places I will. If I want to just go to a pub, I went to junction. Now I have no desire because I can't get things on the menu I used to. Junction is a place to get brunch now!? Don't do brunch. It's a place to get dillas and beer. The menu is HORRIBLE NOW. Change it back, BRG. Don't ruin the charm of southie.

Normally this place is a 5/5. The wings are the best in the area. But today one of the bartenders was so rude it made me never want to come back here. The brown hair girl with large glasses refused to even ask me or my cousin what we wanted to drink and several times we found her glaring from across the bar at us to the point where we left because it was that uncomfortable (Molly I believe her name was). I would like to add we were the only 2 girls sitting at the bar and all the men sitting around us were getting great service and smiles. When she finally came over and took our drink orders, I had to flag her down. She wouldn’t make eye contact, threw the check down in front of us and didn’t even respond when I said thank you. I’ve been coming to Junction for years with great food and great service, but after the uncomfortable looks from the single bar tender I will be reconsidering the places I dine at in Southie.

Standard selection of beers, delicious wings. Good air conditioning and was showing the football. Service was what let the experience down.

Fun spot to catch a drink with friends. Prices and food are excellent and service as well. Will definitely be going back

Super friendly local spots pub. Decent food. Older crowd compared to their Southie spots. I'd love to give 5 stars but can't because the place is SO LOUD. Literally everyone who frequents here will be deaf soon because of the unnecessary decibels.
