Took an hour after ordering 2 sandwiches to receive the food. Told several times they were almost ready. Once received, it was the worst sandwich either of us have ever had. It was so covered on horseradish it was not edible. Deserves 0 stars.

Awful little tourist trap bar with horrible service. Bartender “Speedo” is a clown. Would rather have a conversation and ignore you than pour a drink. Some tiny little bouncer kid on a power trip threw my friend out for “swaying” when he wasn’t drunk at all or causing any problems. When my friend questioned why he was being kicked out, the bouncer says “I bet you've never been told no in your life have you”. Just such a weird thing to say to someone you don’t know at all and kind of says it all about this guy’s personality and the type of bar they think they are. I would never go back and I hope if you’re reading this you choose a different bar

Just hosted a private party on the second floor of the point and I cant Say enough good things about Jimmy and his staff! The space on the second floor is lovely! Set up with tablecloths and plenty of seating as well as lots of room to mingle around and dance! We had access to their Spotify music system to play all our favorite songs! Jimmy worked closely with me to make sure the menu was just perfect and throughout the night adjusted the food based on what people were eating, assuming we had enough but not a lot that went to waste. We had a private bad up there and Tanner the bartended did an excellent job mixing the drinks for all the guests. We will for sure be back for another work party soon!!!

The Point in Boston is an amazing place! Our recent Thursday night event hosting about 25 people was fantastic. The staff at The Point were incredibly helpful and accommodating from start to finish. They were very hospitable and made our event memorable. The team went above and beyond to meet all our needs, from setting up the space just as we wanted to ensuring everyone had a drink throughout the evening.I think whether you're enjoying drinks with friends or hosting a larger event like ours, you'll find yourself surrounded by a warm and welcoming ambiance in the space that sets the perfect tone for a great time. The food and drinks were great, everything was delicious.Overall, I highly recommend The Point. Whether you're looking for a great spot for some drinks/dinner or a venue to host your event, The Point is an excellent choice. And a huge thanks to Jimmy and the staff for making our event so special – we'll definitely be back when we host our next event!

Came for espresso martinis. They were pretty good. A bit expensive for the serving size compared to nearby places.

Came on a trip to Boston from NY. Came here looking for a bread bowl chowder, because I saw someone eating a bread bowl clam chowder around there. I asked if I can take a to go order and the man at the front door said yes. I asked him if he had bread bowl clam chowder and he said no he had chowder but not in a bread bowl. I really wanted that bread bowl so I was going to go look for it. Jimmy the man at the front said tell you what, you go look for that bread bowl chowder, come back here and show me it and I’ll give you a free clam chowder from here so you can compare and see which one is better. So I went in a hunt to search for this bread bowl chowder and found it at Boston & Maine fish co. Then went back to The Point and showed Jimmy the bread bowl. He then went and got us a to go chowder. I tried both chowders later in the day. Jimmy was right, they don’t compare to each other. The Point’s chowder was flavorful, thick, had a nice kick to it, delicious!!!!!! Would definitely come again and spend my money here instead because I know it would’ve been even better if I ate it right there and then! The friendliest staff and delicious food!!! Thank you again Jimmy!

My partner and I stopped into The Point for a few drinks last night and we had an absolute blast. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the most personable door man I’ve ever met in my life and when we sat at the bar we had some incredible drinks and service. Thank you Pops and Sam for the wonderful evening, we will definitely be back when we’re back around the way.

The Point in Boston serves up a clam chowder that surpasses all expectations, earning the title of the best I have ever had. From the first spoonful, the rich and creamy broth envelops your taste buds, delivering a perfect balance of flavors. The clams are tender, plentiful, and impeccably fresh, adding a delightful oceanic essence to each bite. The accompanying crispy bacon and hearty chunks of potatoes contribute to the chowder's overall depth and texture. Combined with the restaurant's inviting ambiance, The Point creates an unforgettable dining experience centered around a clam chowder that sets a new standard for perfection.

Just want to take a moment to note that The Point is a racist establishment that I would highly discourage Black and other BIPOC folks from attending. They were the starting point for a The Official Onesie Bar Crawl Boston event I attended, and, at the end of the evening, when a few of us were returning to the space as an ending point before making the journey home, the other folks who were part of the crawl were able to rejoin the venue, but, when me and the other Black man who attended the crawl tried to return, we were informed that we were unwelcome. They told us they had the right to deny entry to anywone they believed was too inebriated, which ... may be true, but my companion and I were not observably inebriated. My companion actually hadn't had anything to drink for a while. I couldn't claim I hadn't had anything at the previous bar, but I can say I was casually sipping chardonnay as I chatted, and right now I am typing this after having driven safely home. They refused to elaborate or articulate any behavior we exhibited that suggested we were too drunk or that caused them concern (and, indeed, since we'd just arrived, they'd had no time to observe us). The manager was extremely disrespectful in addressing us, and it was really quite clear what the actual motivation for our exclusion was. I've never been treated so horribly at a bar before. So yeah - I cannot recommend against going here enough.
