Toscano is my family's favorite gathering place. We have visited both the Harvard Square location and the Charles Street location. Toscano provides an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and outstanding service. Guests are made to feel special with plenty of attention to service and yet time to have quiet conversations during the meal. The menu is always topnotch and the servers provide detailed info to assist with selections. Toscano is everything you could want for a memorable night out.

Spectacular as always. Our server, Jeff, was absolutely top shelf. Engage with us and made us feel like friends. We will ALWAYS request him and will wait for him to be available. Outstanding all around!

Everything was very good except the veal. The veal was so tough I could not even cut it with sharp knife. I left most of the veal but ate everything else we had. The service was excellent.

Excellent wait staff provided great service. All of the appetizers and entrees were delicious. Expensive but definitely worth the cost.

We did not have a good experience here unfortunately. We went in for a glass of wine and a cheese board as a light lunch. After receiving the glasses of wine and tasting them, we tried to order a cheese board but were told we needed to order a main course since we had purchased an alcoholic beverage. We weren’t hungry enough for this but the waiter kindly said he could split a main course for us. When we received the bill we were shocked - the “split” main which should have been 29$ was actually 46$, so there was an additional cost to splitting a dish we weren’t aware of. So we weren’t told of their alcoholic beverage policy or their dish splitting policy until it was too late. Outrageously expensive for very mediocre food.

We've been coming to Toacano for a few months and every time it seems to get better. They all go out of their way to make each meal special and each customer satisfied. Our server, Daniel is getting to know us and even with all his regular customers, he still remembers us. They are willing to work with you; yesterday I remembered something I hadn't found in a while and it was made available, even better than I remember. For wine, we decided to try to branch out and had two lovely selections assisted by Amy. Wine is becoming a challenge at time as prices change (for them so also for us) and some aren't available; at Toscano they have an excellent selection and good pricing so Rick (wine guy...) helps, or in his absence Amy is right there. Probably most amazing is in the few short months we've been visiting them they have replaced every heritage restaurant we use to go to in the North End. Once again, we are already looking forward to our next opportunity to visit and enjoy their exquisite service, incredible food and excellent wines. Thank you, Bill and Julie

Made reservations for my wedding anniversary. Food was amazing, service was friendly and the atmosphere was great for a date night. What surprised us was the waiter brought a white chocolate blueberry tart to celebrate at the end. I was expecting maybe just a wishful sentence but definitely not a free dessert!!! Overall excellent experience!

Got the osso bucco and the tenderloin. Both were unreal. Risotto that came with the osso bucco was also unreal. For apps, we got the mussels and the meatballs. Meatballs were some of the best I've ever had. Mussels great too.

We had a nice dinner at Toscano. This time at the Beacon Hill Location (normally we go to the Cambridge location). The food was very good. The service was not what we are used to. It felt hurried and the tone was quite brusque to the point of harshness. Unnecessarily so, restaurant did not seem too full.

Superb service, excellent meal. Table of four able to speak to each other without yelling over music or other patrons (because no one was yelling over music.) Music was present but did not dominate the room. Delightful reccos from our server, didn't wait for anything, no one hovered, but nothing was missed. Bravo to the staff!

Toscano is the best - excellent food, great service, and amazing value. I sometimes wish so many people didn’t feel the same way, as it can be hard to get a table. But of course that’s to be expected with a place this wonderful.

All around wonderful experiences. The risotto was the best I have ever had, and the waiter was exceptionally helpful and polite. She gave us a taste of several wines, before we ordered by the glass, and was very knowledgeable of all the menu items. There is a reason Toscano is at the top of my list of favorites restaurants in Massachusetts.

Richard and Amy create an atmosphere like no other. The menu is superb and Toscano’s dependability is a constant. Thank you all for making Toscano’s Boston’s best dining experience.

We had an amazing meal at Toscano. The food was 10/10 and the service was just as good. We were seated at a great table near the front window and did not feel rushed whatsoever. I got the feeling we had the table for the evening. The server timed our courses perfectly and each dish was better than the last. They even split our pasta for us when I mentioned we'd be sharing. Generous portions, great food, great ambiance, and awesome service.

It was my beautiful bride's birthday and we were so glad to be able to spend it at Toscano. From when we entered they made it a special evening. We were pleased that we were able to have Daniel as our server and he really out did himself. When we sat down he asked about water and a beverage and suggested we settle in and relax.... Rick came by to ask about wine and made a new suggestion which is on the top of our list for our next trip as Julie picked something special that was perfect. Once we had the wine Daniel brought an amazing starter of specially cooked mushrooms over a bed of greens; it was absolutely perfect. We both had pasta which somehow at Toscano is ‘better' than we can find anywhere in the city. Even Amy the manager stopped by to ensure everything was perfect; it was. Then Daniel brought out dessert, two of their amazing selections. When we mentioned the panna cotta was the best we've found outside Italy, we said now all they needed was zabaglione (an amazing custard served over/with fresh fruit)... he went to the kitchen and brought a cup of ‘zab' that we enjoyed thoroughly. Oh, my, what a perfect evening thanks to everyone at Toscano. Thank you, Bill and Julie
