I recently visited the W Lounge with a group of friends. One member of our group was a tourist visiting from another country. Upon arrival, the person at the entrance requested ID from each of us. Unfortunately, our tourist friend did not have an American ID, as he was visiting from abroad. We explained the situation to the attendant but were shocked when we were informed that an American passport was required for entrance to the bar. In this day and age, it's disheartening to encounter such discriminatory policies that exclude tourists and lawful permanent residents from enjoying certain establishments. We were deeply disappointed by this experience, which felt discriminatory and non-inclusive. I strongly urge the management of W Lounge to reevaluate their policies and ensure that all patrons are treated fairly and respectfully, regardless of their nationality or documentation.

Made my reservations on Open Table and they never notified me that the dining room would be closed. We had to eat in the lounge. The furniture looked like it was from the Jetsons and extremely uncomfortable. When I looked around the room I noticed others trying to adjust themselves. Maybe two people at the bar and about 6 in the lounge. It was a special evening for me and my son and we wanted to eat near the Colonial as we were attending a show. The valet man was the best of the entire visit at the W. The menu was extremely limited and we didnt have time to find another place. Would not recommend. Also considering it was so empty, service was very slow.

We ate at the W Lounge before our show at the Wilbur theater. The location was convenient. We sat at the bar. Our server was very attentive. We ordered the charcuterie board to start which had a nice assortment and great portion of cheeses and meat. We enjoyed with our drinks which were also nicely mixed and tasty. We split the burger. Our server had the kitchen serve on 2 separate plates and serving of fries which was a nice touch. The burger was delicious. Overall a great pre show dinner experience. We will be back before our next show.

Fun place to grab drinks and catch a vibe. Wait staff was attentive which cab be difficult when it gets super busy. Prices were far and the DJ was 10/10

Only went for drinks, but they were strong and delicious! Good way to start a night out in Boston. There were a few dogs inside, which I found strange. I'm not a huge animal person, and would rather eat/drink expensive items without animals sniffing my ankles.

W Lounge was so much fun! Our hostess Estphania was amazing. The cocktails were amazing and the food as well. We celebrated my wife birthday after finishing a show across the street and it was well worth it.

The food was not worth the price we paid. The servers were friendly and the music was a nice touch. However, I will not attend another "Brunch So Hard" the food was not worth it.

We were seated immediately, and the server understood we had to be at a show across the street and at what time. She made sure everything was served quickly and our checks were paid asap so we could leave for the show.

Nice and cozy atmosphere. Great service, great drinks and yummy food. We were a group of 6 and enjoyed ourselves for hours on a Friday night. We also enjoyed the DJ.

We booked here for NYE. The location/set up reception area is very strange. There was no real front desk area and it felt like we were in the space of the bar staff. Staff were plentiful but not attentive and did not greet us (not even to say "someone will be with you shortly"). Once we got seated the service was ok, but not what I would expect for a higher-end hotel. The food was good - recommend the chicken sliders, but nothing else was especially memorable.
