Nice owner, good food. Hard to find good "Siu Mei" rice in Boston. Will come again on next Boston visit.

Must of the chicken and duck was all bone and no meat. We also order chicken soup and it had no flavor. It was a sub-par lunch unfortunately.

First time coming to Boston and saw a YouTube video recommended this place. The food is decent but the portion of meat is little and mostly rice and the duck is very salty. There is no menu or price, I paid $18 for the triple delight(three different meats) with rice. I'm originally from HK and live in LA so the price is pretty steep even for LA standards.

This review is strictly for the food only and not the star of the restaurant. Ordered a whole salted steamed chicken and vegetables. Still good as ever. However, I suggest take out instead of eating there. To be honest, they really need a major facelift and complete renovation if possible. They have been running this little joint, hole in the wall restaurant for 20-30yrs old or even older. Time to invest in a little interior revamp.

Wanted to like this place. I will not be returning especially considering Hong Kong Eatery a few blocks away which has similar and better offerings at the same price point. Store is on the basement level and easy to miss. It's not clean inside and it seems they are offering sit in dining; I don't recommend that considering the sticky, old tablecloths. The poor state of the place makes me wonder if their kitchen operations are sanitary. Service is quick and brusque like most places in Chinatown. Keep in mind that EVERYTHING costs extra: sauce, veggies, meats. When asked if I wanted veggies, the shopkeeper was did not tell me it cost extra until I pressed her about it. Don't get tricked into paying more by saying yes.Food is good. I got the chicken and rice with an addition of roast duck for $14. Good flavors and well marinated. However, like other reviews say, the chicken and duck is very skinny and more bone than meat. This is intentional: I watched the man assembling my plate pick and choose pieces of chicken and duck from a bin. At this price point and considering local competition, I expect them not to skimp.

Used to come here all the time, so I stopped in cause I was craving some charsiu (roasted pork).I speak fluent Cantonese so there was no language barrier. The older woman was pretty rude while the old man who was in the back(the cook) kept complaining and swearing every obscenity in the book.I saw him microwave a small piece of charsiu and then season it right then and there. He used his bare hands to handle the food as well. Not only that, but as you can see it's predominantly fat and too small for the $11 price tag. They only accept cash and don't sell meat by the pound anymore. The place has always been dirty, but I feel like it's even dirtier than before.I won't be coming back and everyone should avoid this place. BEWARE!Zero stars.

I’ve been to this place a few times but this time since after Covid I must say the food quality and quantity both have dramatically went for the worth. I bought 3 orders of rice with chicken, roast pig and liver. Total came out to be around $18/order. However there’s was only 2 tiny pieces of chicken and roast pork. For this price per order I would expect much more proteins than what was give. This will be my last time coming to this place. Also the woman had a terrible attitude.

While the food is delicious.. it is disgustingly unsanitary. I found a cockaroach in my soup and that was one scoop.. can’t imagine how many are sittting in the pot

Hole in the wall place. They are pumping out incredible food. I suggest either the pork meal or the duck. Both are awesome. The sauce they put on is really good

My go-to spot for Cantonese style roast meat rice plates! They add 3 different sauces over top which gives the rice amazing flavor and aroma. Make sure to ask for extra ginger scallion oil (the special sauce) cause it is bombbb. The soup is also the perfect pairing to this dish. Keep in mind, cash and takeout only!
