Wanted to have a fun night out with friends but after one drink each and one app, we left to go elsewhere. They have a cocktail menu that sounded great, but after I ordered my drink, the waiter let me know that they were out of that cocktail and 2 others (including my second choice). The cocktail I did get tasted so bad, more syrup than alcohol - it also had cranberries and rosemary garnish, which is odd since it’ll be May next week. My friend ordered a vodka soda that was warm and flat. How do you mess up ? Zucchini fritters were so bad we didn’t even finish them. The speakeasy vibe is cool tho so hopefully they step their game up

Beautiful bar and restaurant with awful food and service. Owners! Your employees need to be trained in hospitality. They are very nice and want to be helpful but they don’t have any table side etiquette. For example, our drinks were room temperature (a simple vodka martini) and when asked for extra olives our waiter brought it over with just the toothpicks - no plate or napkin. Zucchini fritters were burned and tasted like they were fried in used oil. Overall sad experience for a Boston restaurant. Please ! We don’t mind paying good prices for food, but train your people and strive for good quality!

Edwin is an amazing server with great attention to detail. Was very knowledgeable on drink recommendations and knew when to come by and check in on us by gauging the vibes. The staff overall seemed really supportive of one another and felt like a well-oiled machine. The food was phenomenal. I highly recommend the arancini and the shrimp parmigiana. SO GOOD.11/10 would visit again. ?

I got to say, I was really excited to find out that wink and nod was reopening under new ownership after closing in 2020. I would frequent wink and nod prior to 2020 and it never disappointed. I went a couple of weekends ago and I have to say that my old-fashioned (a basic cocktail) was pitiful and It was apparent that there was a lack of the basic fundamentals of how to make an old fashioned and it was definitely sitting for a while as the ice was melting by the time it got to the table. The ambience will make up for a situation like this but I do expect better results next time I go.

We recently got married and the owner was nothing but kind and generous! Not to mention the drinks themselves were absolutely delicious. The vibe fits perfectly in to the speakeasy theme and they even dimmed the lights once it got later in to the night. The music is great with Alt j playing to boost the environment they definitely look in to every detail. We cant wait to go back and want to thank the owner again I believe his name was Shawn for a beautiful time!

Great drinks. Food was delicious ok, a bit salty on entrees but the apps were solid. Overall recommend for atmosphere. Staff were great! I’d come back :)Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options. Maybe 1 vegan option. Could use more variety in this aspect

Jakob (so) is a talented, deeply knowledgeable bartender and also a cellist. Go have a drink with him, it's worth it.

Amazing night out. The atmosphere is absolutely perfect, down to the unique music. The cocktails and food were fantastic and different. Our server was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. You absolutely must check this location out for a date night or special night out.

I hate to write this review because I’ve had many great experiences at Wink & Nod. Unfortunately, last night’s experience left much to be desired: it took 20 minutes to find a server and another 20 to get our drinks. In fact, our food came before our drinks. This place isn’t cheap, and a certain level is service is expected.

We went here for a pre dinner cocktail. The cocktails themselves were delicious! They were about $20 each which is pricey, but not outlandish considering the liquors used in them. Service was a bit slow but our main issue was with how gross the bathrooms were. The women’s had an used feminine product on the floor and my fiancé said that the mens also had a toilet with a bunch of blood in it (he was guessing someone got a bloody nose or something). Both didn’t have any soap in their dispensers. If one of the bathrooms didn’t have an issue, I could have written it off as oh that must’ve just happened but considering both were in that state and we went exactly at opening…idk it feels like they need to make sure their bathrooms are nice before opening for the evening.

We were waiting for our reservation time, but the hostess was so rude that we decided to leave. Really bad attention to customer.

I watched the manager literally scream at the table next to me after they had waited an hour and a half for drinks. It was so inappropriate and made me super uncomfortable.

Really enjoyed coming here! The atmosphere of the place is fantastic and classy, the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, the prices aren't insane for what you get, and the taste is excellent for the drinks and food. Loved the bar area too, just friendly and flows well. Definitely a 10/10 would recommend!

Reserved a table and it was so loud we couldn’t hear eachother. Ordered drinks and 35 minutes later, they came, after our food came. Not justifiable for the price point and perceived quality of the place. The drinks were average and food was decent.
