My coworker raved about this place but I found it to be meh :/ I got the ube taro milk tea and this was what I got. The texture (the purple not the boba) at the bottom was sooo unsettling, very pulp like. Maybe I should get something else? Idk it was not my fave. Wish I could’ve gotten matcha without the Oreos!

When you walk in you have to self order on the small little ipad on the counter. I don't like that at all. I feel like there should've been an option to order with an actual employee to ask questions and recommendations, but there was no one there. This placed opened not too long ago you would think that they would keep up at least some kind of service to welcome people in. Nope. I ordered the Coconut Zero, and in the menu photo and description it says it comes with 1 whole coconut. I looked at other reviews and in their photos the actual literal coconut was provided. As you can see the coconut wasn't even given to me and when I drank it I find it hard to believe they used a whole coconut for the drink. Honestly absolutely disappointed. Around $8 for a drink that doesn't even come as described is so saddening. It tasted fine, like regular coconut water with a little bit of coconut flakes and pudding. The only interaction I received was when the employee called my name to give me my drink. For NO SERVICE, no coconut as described, and no Hanabi items on a Saturday afternoon is just poor.

I got the baby peach smoothie drink with crystal boba. I thought the sugar level was pretty good, if not a little high. I was a little taken aback by the price, the drink with crystal boba cost $9 total. They were also sold out of almost every croissant and every box cake when I went. However, in their defense, the peach taste of the drink was very fresh and not overpowering. But with all the other boba shops in the area, zero& definitely stands out as having very unique flavors. I hope to try their cakes and croissants next time!

Three girls working behind the counter keep talking about their weight, how they have gained weight and how they are losing weight. Ruins the mood.

Never had a bad drink here yet! All the drinks are very refreshing. The coconut zero had real coconut chunks. The coco mango tasted like mango pomelo. I personally loved the baby peach. The water chestnut boba had real water chestnuts fixed in with popping boba. There's always a pretty long wait. The store is quite small with about 5 small tables (very limited seating available).

Drinks are fine, but be prepared to wait, ESPECIALLY if you decide to order ahead. You will wait longer than those who put in order in the store 10+ minutes after you. I got the coconut zero, and it was good. But it took way too long. We ordered about 20 minutes before arriving and waited 30+ minutes at the store to get the drink. And what makes it worse is people who came in with us who ordered when they arrived at the store and people who ordered after us got it a good 10+ minutes before us. While the drinks are good, it was NOT worth the wait and seeing people who ordered after us get it first made it even worse. They need to work their ordering system out.

We got the coco mango and it was a solid smoothie. We added coconut jelly as a topping and it was delicious. I also liked the grapefruit added to the top - it added a nice dash of acidity. The drinks are expensive, but the large smoothies are 24oz so a very decent size. I'm a bit confused about the branding of this place. What does zero calorie sugar mean? Like... sugar substitute? It's a little unclear - they should work on their branding/messaging. Maybe display the total calories of each drink if that's what they're going for. The store is clean and spacious. They have a good amount of seating. Competition is fierce in this part of town, but I think they do fill a unique niche!

I was craving a smoothie/ juice drink while shopping and luckily stumbled upon this new shop! I ordered the Matcha Tornado with less sugar and boba. It took about 15 minutes to just order then another 25 minutes to get the drink. Unfortunately, the boba was forgotten when the drink was made. But the taste of the actual drink was amazing!! It was basically a milkshake, in my opinion- which I am not mad about. Would come again if I was on Newbury street.

I was super excited to get their coconut drink as it was a top seller, but it was so disappointing. Maybe it’s like a hit or miss, but wish it had a stronger coconut taste. It tasted more like water.

Ordered the pink guava oasis but it came out pretty bland and no taste of guava at all. Pretty disappointed with the drinks here. I was looking forward to this place cause of all the raves.

I liked it. I bought the Passion Lemonade tea, it was quite aromatic however it tasted great. I also added double boba and the amount of boba seems really nice and reasonably priced at 50 cents the addition. The bathroom seemed cleaned and there was like 5 tables for the place. Would

New boba shop located on Newbury. Honestly speaking, Newbury Street does not need any more boba shops. But Zero& really exceeded my expectations. I was a little upset that they didn't have the drink that I wanted to try as they were sold out for the day (at around 4/5pm?!). I wanted to try the matcha tornado since I took a sip of my boyfriend's drink when he got it with his friends. Ordering is very simple so service moves pretty fast. My friend got the coconut drink with the low sugar option and I got the mango pomelo drink. Both of our drinks were very refreshing and definitely something I could keep coming back here during the summer. The ambiance is super casual but the wait times seemed absurd. We waited about 15-20 minutes for our drinks, but granted we did come here on a weekend and they were also making online orders as well. They offer a sit down area and they also have small cake boxes that you can order. Again, the ones I would have wanted to try were sold out. Only reason why I'm giving this place a 4/5 stars is that there were a lot of items that were sold out and it was not even close to closing. But overall, I would come back.
