Amazing breakfast & service! Servers were so kind and made our visit spectacular.

The food was great. Portions were huge and affordable. The server was attentive and very kind, you can tell that it is family owned and close knit, would go again for sure, ambiance was welcoming

I could only explain my criticism of this restaurant based on my experience placing takeout orders as I have not eaten at this restaurant. The food was fine. Nothing to complain about there. The service on the other ✋.....Make sure you are not in a rush. If you order takeout for pickup, it will take an additional 15 to 20 minutes from the supposed time that the order will be finished. From talking to the waitresses they didn't even know how long the order will take if you order online. Based on what the waitresses told me, your take out order is cooked when the kitchen staff can cook your order. So I would imagine it's probably better to just eat there instead of ordering to go.Also don't bother requesting condiments like hot sauce (like Tabasco or Sriracha) because they don't honor them. They won't give it to you.I may edit this review in the future if I decide to dine in at this establishment. (It's probably going to be a while since the service wasn't the greatest for someone ordering to go let alone a tip was added to the TAKEOUT ORDER.)

Ordered breakfast for delivery. The chocolate chip pancakes weren't appetizing, wouldn't order again. The side of bacon was cooked perfectly. The crabcake benedict was just okay. The eggs were perfectly poached. However, the crab cake was definitely a premade cake. The order lacked overall. If you're in the neighborhood and you need quick and basic breakfast, this place may work.

This is a fairly narrowly-focused review, but it's my experience nonetheless. Bringing a child with a food allergy into a restaurant is meaningful to them, and necessary for their development. It makes them feel like they can do normal things, and teaches them how to manage their allergy when they inevitably find themselves at a restaurant. If you are serving food to the public, you should have a cursory understanding of food allergies. After a pleasant-enough interaction, the server at Ashley's told us she would not be able to serve anything (aside from fruit) to our child because she/the cook didn't want to be responsible for any possibility of an allergic reaction. While I understand their logic, it was easily-avoidable & a demoralizing outcome. It felt very much like they just didn't want to make the effort to accommodate us. I offered to help them read ingredients, and understand exactly what is & is not safe (very simple stuff). After a few back and forth conversations between her and the cook, we were told there was just nothing they would do to accommodate us. We were not asking them for anything complicated or out of the ordinary at all. In fact, what we were asking them to do didn't differ at all from what they would have done if I never mentioned the allergy. But mentioning it is important to everyone involved. We would've eaten, and been in and out of there in 20 minutes. Instead, we left there after 20 minutes with a sad kid, and out $17 for two juices and a coffee (and a tip - she still works hard). To Ashley's: You'd be surprised at how easy it is to get this right! It's really not as scary as you may think. I'm happy to help if you'd like to reach out. I would love nothing more than to revise this review and come in there often. Food allergies in kids are on the rise (dramatically), so it's something you're going to have to learn to be comfortable dealing with. If you make the effort, it means the world to people. Parents talk about where to go and where to avoid, and we spend a lot of money at the places that make the effort and know the basics. I'd suspect part of the reason you're in business is to provide a place where people can feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. You fell short. You're a staple in this community. Please do better.

Waitstaff was great. Loved the homemade cornedbeef hash. All kinds of omlettes are available.

The first time my husband and I walked in to have breakfast, it felt like a family. Just by observing, we can tell there was a good vibe there. Our waitress was down to earth and very quick and efficient. Since then, we've gone back, and she remembered where and how we sat and what we had. She should be a detective. Food is so delicious, eggs are fresh and cooked just right.

Employees weren’t super nice, just bare minimum. We had breakfast here and the food was overall good. Their specialty pancakes(we had the caramel apple) weren’t anything special. It was just regular pancakes with a few pieces of apple cooked into them which was disappointing for the price(2 pancakes for $13).

10 Star Review. All wait staff, Cook staff, dishwashers and Owner are Exceptional Nice and Friendly. I Must address the Racist Comments by hopefully Former Customer Identified as JENNIFER IHENETU ! So You go there to eat, one of the times the bill with your friends was $82.00. You left ZERO. TIP. You are a Cheap Person who has OBVIOUSLY Never worked in the Hospitality Business.! Waitresses make their Income off of Tips. The Waitress that you made False Statements about is not Racist, her Family members are Black. @ so is her good Friend and Coworker. She Never Made any Comment regarding your Race. But it Seems to me that because you are Such a Cheap Individual and you have Absolutely No Justification for not Tipping You had nothing to say. SO You pulled out your. Race Card. JENNIFER you are an Embarrassment to the HUMAN RACE.#########????

Great Family Friendly Homestyle Restaurant. I have been going to Ashley's in Braintree for many many years. The Waitresses are polite and friendly. But I can not Say that about Some of the Customers,On Several Occasions I have personally seen Customers not Leave the Hard Working Female Waitresses any TIP, So I have felt Obligated to make up the difference myself. In Regards to Customer Jennifer IhenetuYou are a Very Cheap Person who does not deserve to be waited upon. If I was there and saw what you did I would have paid extra money to that Waitress that you Screwed over.Try that at a different Restaurant and get the same reaction Jennifer You are a Cheap Person who is a Racist. We are all one Race. The Human Race.Keep your own Racism to your Nasty Self. Better yet why don't you get a job as a Waitress and see how it feels when Cheap Nasty People like yourself don't Tip you for all of your hard work.!!!..??????????Vegetarian options: Just ask your Waitress for any Valuables optionsDietary restrictions: You can ask your Waitress if they can make a Special meal for you for your dietary needsParking: Sometimes you can get a spot at the front doorKid-friendliness: Yes Plenty of People bring their small children and babiesWheelchair accessibility: From Sidewalk to Table this Restaurant is Wheelchair Accessible

This was a great meal, it's like a hidden gem in Braintree. We were looking for brunch a bit late, but found Ashley's delicious eggs and french toast great. My kids devoured everything which is a kid rare. We walked there from the farmers market to work up an appetite.Kid-friendliness: Squeeze the kids in.

My wife and I have been coming here for years, and have never been disappointed by the food or service. All the staff are exceptional. I wanted to address a recent post where a woman was claiming she was unjustly treated due to her race. I know that there couldn’t be nothing further from the truth. My wife and I are a mixed couple and have always been treated well. If somebody has a personal issue with the waitstaff, it’s simply that a personal issue guaranteed nothing to do with race. Why does it always have to be about race when you disagree with someone. Please always remember to tip your hard-working waitstaff that’s how they make a living.
