My family and I visit the Cafe Bistro in the Braintree mall not just for their menu, but especially because of Corrine's (a longtime server) exceptional customer service.Corrine has always greeted my family and I with a genuine smile & ensures each and every time that are meals are to all of our satisfaction. We visit this specific location 8 to 10 times a year & a highlight is that we get to see Corrine. The food is delicious, no doubt, and we always leave feeling quite full.

Located in Nordstrom, Cafe Bistro is a great place to grab a sandwich. The order process is more like counter service, where you order and pay for your food selection, then choose your seat. The turkey club has fresh ingredients and is served with fries which have a rosemary essence, quite delightful. The Caesar's salad had crisp lettuce and generous, but not overwhelming, amount of dressing. Service is excellent. We told the hostess we were splitting the salad and sandwich and when it was served, they already split our food on 2 plates. It is very clean inside, and on a Sunday around 1:00 seemed to do a decent take out business. Only a few inside tables were taken.

3.5 to 4 stars out of 5. Your standard Cafe Bistro is located upstairs in Nordstrom. I do enjoy the landscape views from above. The food is your Americanized food with a slightly higher in price, but for the most part, the food that I ordered was delicious and savory. Service was kind and attentive. We did not need to make reservations.

I am a onion soup lover, but tried 3 times there, it was way too salty that I can take...Staffs said they follow the recipe from Corp office ...Other than that, everything are excellent, servers are very friendly & nice.. . Good place to spend time there

Looking for a refined yet casual oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the Braintree Mall? If you can find the Cafe Bistro tucked away off the fancy dress section of Nordstrom's, you'll be wonderfully rewarded for your efforts! My mom and I love to come here to refresh with lunch or dinner when we are shopping, and it's a great alternative to the crowded food court or some of the sit down restaurants in the mall, which take longer to eat at. Cafe Bistro is a wonderful blend of counter service + quality food + short wait times, so you'll be back on your feet hunting for the perfect gift in no time! Ordering at the counter is easier said than done, since there are many yummy options to choose from. Last time we were here, I got the Crab Avocado Salad, which was fresh and flavorful, and piled high with creamy avocado, tender crab, and a zingy lime dressing. My mom got the Margarita Pizza, which was an impressive portion size for a lunch entree, and arrived piping hot. We also love the Turkey Club, served with shoestring crispy fries (ask for extra cranberry mayo sauce for dipping!), and the Chicken Pasta, which is a lighter take on classic Italian flavors, and my fave pick for dinner. You're not going to be getting any insane bargains here, as it is a bit pricy, but if you want to get away from the mall craziness or get back to shopping in a prompt fashion, Cafe Bistro is so worth it! The dining area is lovely and intimate, with comfortable leather banquette seating, warm lighting, and a nice view of the trees and clouds outside. We try to go following the afternoon rush, and if you can wait until 2pm onward to eat, you'll usually avoid the groups of "ladies who lunch" who come here on their shopping excursions in fancy hats. I discovered Nordstrom's Cafe Bistro (Braintree, MA) several years ago when I was between jobs and working in Nordstrom. I usually walked the mall on my lunch break looking for different places to eat and not to thrilled with the choices. One day, I had lunch at the Cafe Bistro at insistence of a few co-workers, and it didn't disappoint. When you first enter the cafe, you are given a menu and once you order your meal, you can sit where you choose. I always try and scout out a window seat. On my first visit I ordered the Margherita pizza. It is not overwhelming in portion and it has a nice flavor. On my second visit, I ordered the Bistro Club and was hooked. The Bistro Club is packed with sliced chicken breast, baby greens, bacon, tomato, avocado, delightfully crunchy green beans and garlic aioli on toasted rustic bread. The sandwich has a nice balance as you are able to taste each layer of flavor. The Bistro Club also comes with splendidly seasoned french fries which are absolutely delicious. I always order extra garlic aioli and a side of mayo which I mix together and use as a dip for the fries. One day on a whim, I decided to order dessert. The server suggested the White Chocolate Bread Pudding, which at the sound of bread pudding I'll admit, initially I cringed. My head was flooded with visions from childhood of watching my grandmother mix together a concoction of old bread and spices that smelled heavenly in the oven, but it took me several years to get up the courage to eat bread pudding. I decided to give Cafe Bistro's a try and I'm so glad I did. The White Chocolate Bread Pudding is AWESOME! The presentation is lovely and the taste and texture is superb.
