Very poor customer service!! We have small children and were at space zero. They needed to eat dinner by a certain time although were playing. We placed a few pizzas for take out with the intention to have the food prepared while we wrap up and then go dine in - to include order more food for the adults at the restaurant. I added a tip to the take out order as well to accommodate us. When we got there we were refused service because we already ordered our pizza. They didn’t care that we had small children, that someone from our party needed to nurse, that we were going to order more food. Mind you, half the restaurant was empty with open tables. We had to eat in the entrance while we waited for the infant nursing to finish in the bathroom. A staff member then even proceeded to kick us out and tell us the toddlers couldn’t eat while waiting. They even made a fuss to give us drinks to go (hot tea). Food was good, but customer service and human decency was nothing like I have ever encountered. Would highly advise not to eat here.

Service was friendly but s o s l o o o o w. It was probably a good thirty minutes between ordering a lunch and getting served. The restaurant was empty of patrons but it still took ages.Everything was cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. The kids meals were so cold it was as though they had pulled the pasta out of the fridge & did not reheat it at all. Adult lunch pizzas were a little better: just warm not hot. One pizza clearly had toppings added last minute after it had already been cooked rather than pre-baking.Would have sent it all back but we didn’t have an hour to wait with they remade it. I would never visit again.

I came to eat at CPK as we occasionally come and we’ve always loved the pizzas and the desserts here but today was horrible. To begin we had to wait 10 minutes to be served. We order 2 drinks a virgin margarita and a strawberry mojito and got the opposite. In this case it was okay as we just switched but just imagine that I was under age or pregnant, or just couldn’t drink from religion. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and the dough was cold and chewy. I felt as if I was eating microwaved pizza. My mom ordered the bbq chicken salad and the lettuce wasn’t fresh. as fas as atmosphere goes when we got in the tables in front of us were dirty and stayed dirty until the time we left. And multiple tables were a mess on our way out.

California Pizza kitchen always has delicious pizza. I adore their barbecue chicken. The sauce and crust just really stand put together on it. I ordered pizza as duo with salad. But the barbecue chicken salad side was a bit hard tp eat. I liked lettuce, chicken and crunchy chips. But I couldn't finish the salad since tomatoes were not my likely. I just really don't like underwhelming tomatoes.I sadly couldn't eat the dessert. I ordered strawberry shortcake dessert on a biscuit. The biscuit was too heavy and over cooked. It was really dry. I only ate the ice cream and strawberries.I would come back for pizza; but dessert and salad were not appealing enough to try again. We had great customer service here. The vibe was really pleasant during lunch time.

I’m leaving a 5 star review solely for my server Jay. He was very nice. My nieces were a little cranky and he went above and beyond to try to put a smile on their face. He was knowledgeable and despite being shorter staffed (we went on a Sunday) he definitely made sure to check in on us and make sure we were good. Kudos to Jay for holding his tables down and just being a ball of positive energy.Kid-friendliness: They had crayons and coloring pages for the kids

Our server Jay was great. Towards the end of the meal my nieces were being cranky and he went above and beyond to put a smile on their face. The restaurant seemed short staff but Jay and the cooks held it down and our food came out in a timely manner. Jay was great positive vibes and was a great server.

I forgot to take pictures so here's my last slice of pizza the service was fast and our waiter was sweet. Even though the place looked understaffed, they treated everyone in there (which was a growing number) great and at no point did we feel like we were waiting a lot. My pizza was really good and a mini complaint was that there was no actual bleu cheese in my wedge salad. Cute restaurant in the middle of the mall where you don't actually feel like you're in the middle of a mall.

Love this place! They have some of the pizza and salads I’ve ever had! The Margarita Pizza was very delicious and cooked to perfection. The Chinese Chicken Salad was phenomenal. No wait to be seated for lunch on a weekday afternoon and service was excellent and quick! Prices are very reasonable. Love the decor and atmosphere! Seating is available inside the restaurant or just outside the restaurant in the mall. Clean and well run place! Grab a bite to eat here next time you’re shopping at the South Shore Plaza!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available on the menu.Dietary restrictions: Different opinions and dishes are available on the menu for a variety of dietary needs!Parking: Free parking lot and a free parking garage is available.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly with children’s options on the menu and high chairs available.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

Awful experience with takeout order. They forgot my kid’s sundae. We order the meat sauce on the pasta and got plain red sauce with what may have appeared as some crumbled meat in about a tablespoon size located in the corner of the container. The verdict is still out. Our cauliflower crust was rubbery and the pizza was cold when we received it. Very disappointed from start to finish. We will not eat here again.Kid-friendliness: Meal options are appropriate for kid’s pallet.

Front desk lady and waitress were super rude. Service was terrible. We had to ask for everything one by one. Napkin, fork etc.. everytime he bring it, he just put on table in a very rude way.. sorry you are not getting any tip. management needs to train the staff on service.. not coming back again!

Ran out of kids menus and wouldn't even print them off so that we could review them. The managers made the poor waiter memorize it then stand there awkwardly as we tried to figure it out with our kids.

I really want to give this California Pizza Kitchen 1 star…… the pepperoni taste nice. Everything besides that is unprofessional and unacceptable!

Took my sister there for her birthday and had a terrific lunch. The wild mushroom pizza is now my favorite pizza and the sangria flight was perfect.
