Our server was a sweetheart, but not informed about a lot of the stuff on the menu. My husband got the steak and potato in which the potato was absolutely cooked yesterday. He had French soup. It was delicious. Our food was good it’s probably just me I just need more explaining about what you have, and what you don’t have when I go into a restaurant.More training would be a recommendation!

This is our Friday spot! We love the staff, the food and the atmosphere. We watch all our favorite sports on the TVs and play a few board games while waiting for our food. We love the food. They always have new specials. They have my favorite cut of fries! Always a hit here.Kid-friendliness: We go earlier in the night and love bringing our 5 year old. We come every Friday. We play the board games and golf arcade game.

It's a 'cool' local spot. The people who work there are pretty nice. The atmosphere itself is colorful and led-rich but synthetic in substance. The vibe can get a bit rowdy as some of the clientele are on the thuggish side. Be advised to be careful when drinking here.

I’m pretty easy with giving out 5 star reviews but you know what, for what this place is , I give it a 5/5. The owners put a lot of work into this place and I respect the hell out of it. I have been coming here for years , old ownership to new. There’s some games , giant tvs to watch sports / events, everything is newly renovated, it’s a really clean bar, the food is lowkey GOOD (it’s progressively gotten a lot better as time has gone on , you never see that ever), and the bartenders are awesome. I went to one or two Halloween parties here and I honestly had a great time, it was a lot of fun and a big crowd of great people. I hope this place continues to get more traction as it absolutely deserves ; and also continue expanding by having more events to bring the community together . I put all my clients , friends, and family on to four square in the landing. Four square is definitely a very underrated bar and one of my local favorites.

We had a great time on Saturday when we happened upon Four Square Restaurant. They were hosting a Kentucky Derby Party that we had no idea about. When we first arrived, it was very quiet but as the race grew closer, the restaurant became very crowded. We ordered some mozzarella sticks for apps, which were excellent. We then had a grilled chicken sandwich, cheeseburger and veggie sandwich. I had regular fries and the other two ordered waffle fries. All the food was excellent. My chicken sandwich was particularly delicious! My daughter is still raving about the waffle fries! Service was solid, even though it was very busy and the crowd was focused on the Derby! I liked the neighborhood feel that I felt. It was obvious to me that everyone knew each other, which was cool. I gave 5-stars because of the food, atmosphere and solid service! If I lived in the Braintree area, I would definitely visit often.
The food was great! From the Buffalo chicken wontons to the four square burger! I can’t remember the last time I got an actual burger and not a small patty. The bartender/waitress did an amazing job! I hesitated to write this review because it will then become a popular place! Can’t wait to visit again.

Last light was my first and last time at this establishment. Wednesday Dec. 21st 2022. My friends and I decided to get a drink at Four Square last night. I waited patiently at the bar for a drink because there was only one bartender so I was prepared to wait. I sat there talking to friends not an issue in sight. When the woman bartender got to me I asked if they had Downeast ciders. She told me no and recommended something else so I asked for 2 of the ciders she recommended. She asked to see my ID and as I was ready to show she walked away to serve other people for 20 minutes. I waited patiently because I also work in restaurants so I understand how it can be stressful to work alone on a busy night. When she came back she remembered what I wanted and asked for my ID. I handed it over and as she was reading it, I asked politely if I could actually get 3 of the ciders. Since the place was loud I also put up the number 3, as one does in a crowded loud bar... The woman proceeded to tell me she (with attitude) didnt "need my attitude" and that I could "get out" and "I am not serving you". I responded what in shock looking to those around me to confirm what just happened. I walked back to my table in shock with the way she treated me, a paying customer. Not even 5 minutes later my other girl friend came back to the table explaining the same experience. This bartender claimed we had attitude after asking for a drink, yet she proceeded to serve all of our male friends that asked for drinks. I felt extremely disrespected. Don't blame customers if you don't want to do your job:) also don't be sexist. This establishment might be great but I know for sure I will not be back.

Kim is an amazing owner ,chef and just an overall great business person!! She has the place decorate and updated it’s so comfortable to be here and it feels like you’re at cheers ! The bartender Sam is also fabulous they work so hard to make everyone feel at home ! The food is great I have tried just about everything on the menu I totally recommend the steak tips and the cauliflower!!!! Please if you’re loooking for a place to go and relax great food drinks and atmosphere!!!!
