Came in there to do a huge order for my new hires. Panera bread had terrible service so this place came in highly recommended. I walked in, I was greeted, I explained the last minute situation and the general manager and her team was amazing. They took the order, moved quickly and asked the proper questions regarding food restrictions and allergies. Good job pit belly! My new hires loved the food btw. Great great service from a crew full of young people.

First time, last time. It's a bit confusing inside. There is a sign that says "Order Here" so I tried standing as close to where that sign was pointing as I could. I got several glances from the staff behind the counter but not any real acknowledgment of my actual presence. I began to get an old, familiar sensation like I was standing at my bosses office door, waiting nervously for him to look up and address me. After a few minutes of that, something else occurred to me...Just because I walked through the door, doesn't mean I'm under any obligation to stay here. So I eventually left. Unfortunately I cannot speak to the quality of the food. As hard as we all tried the staff and I simply could not close the deal on that. I did however drive a few miles down the road where I found a family owned sandwich and pizza shop (Copeland Street Sub & Pizza). The counter folks were delighted to take my order. They were polite and pleasant throughout and they made a mean pastrami sandwich. Point being, life is hard enough. If I wanted to feel ignored and disrespected, I'd go to the RMV. I shouldn't have to feel that way ordering lunch at a sandwich shop on Saturday afternoon. To Potbelly Corporate, I would recommend instituting some Customer Service Training or greatly improving upon whatever training you currently have.

OK sandwiches but a lot of the staff could use a lesson in manners & customer service. Most of the time the staff act like customers are a nuisance & are barely civil. I understand that anyone can have a bad day, but the poor service is consistent.

Potbelly is a national chain of sandwich shops that specializes in hot, meaty, savory sandwiches, in addition to milkshakes. I'm familiar with them from my days in the Midwest (Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago), and this Braintree venue looks the same on the surface: same menu, same rustic décor. The sandwiches I ordered, whether the pizza melt or chicken club, felt a tad less meaty than I'm used to. Still satisfying, but when one sandwich is usually more than enough to tide me over, this wasn't the case this time. Perhaps this was because they were rushed - I'd ordered ahead of time via the mobile website at a relatively quiet hour and it was clear that they hadn't checked the queue of inbound online orders when I finally made it there. Still, if all cylinders are firing, then these ought to be deliciously savory and meaty sandwiches.

I had high expectations but really didn’t enjoy my meal or even the drinks. My husband wasn’t crazy about his sandwich either. They messed up our order as well. The food is pretty expensive too. The atmosphere of the restaurant also wasn’t very nice. The staff was pretty rude and tables were sticky.

First of all, I needed to order a sandwich and drink for a bagged lunch outing for the next day, so I ordered their chicken salad sandwich on a 6" roll with mayo, tomatoes and a little oil.While there, I decided to go ahead and have supper. I ordered their "BLTA" Bacon-lettuce-tomato-avocado WRAP and It was absolutely SUPERB! Super fresh everything, and the bacon was a perfect salt/smoke/fat balance, fresh tomato and very satisfying!I ordered a small salad, with fresh grapes, apples, walnuts, blue cheese, dried cranberries, a good variety of FRESH green lettuces on a TOASTED/GRILLED roll - OMG! OMG! I had their house dressing, excellent!I had the chicken salad wrap and the chicken salad was one of the best I've ever had - and I order chicken salad all the time, whenever I eat out.Staff were super friendly and efficient. I told one young man he should be the owner! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I usually like this companies food. Not impressed with this location. Food was alright but for being the only one ordering it took a while to get my food. The staff was loud and knocking the company to where all could hear.
I had to order lunch for work it was 11:30 I needed 2 box's of sandwich 10 in each big order. Nyasia asked if I could come before the rush and I said yes it was done by 12:00 I was so amazed how wonderful and professional her and her team were they worked so well together. my office love the food they made for us and we will be getting lunch from them more often. Thank you so much Nyasia and team for taking this tough order and making it work.

I went today to pick up an order and a new manager was hired and she is very unprofessional and hostile.I walked in and checked the takeout shelf first and my order wasn't there then almost immediately saw that the manager was angry, she was dealing with a man that was picking up an order and she sounded like she was giving him a hard time for some reason. She asked him who he was picking up for and he took a bit of time to answer her like he was scared of her and I took the opportunity to tell her who I was picking up for. She ignored me completely.Then a few minutes go by and the order I was there for still hadn't been finished and it was pass pickup time so I asked a young employee and he said the order was almost done, he was just waiting for one more thing.After waiting five minutes pass pickup time I approached another employee because I saw that nobody was finishing the order I was there for. As I spoke to another employee the manager rudely and hostilely interrupted me and said, "did you come in and check the shelf first (yes I did) then tell someone who you were picking up for (yes, I told her and she ignored me) or did you just come in and sit down?"So said to her, "I didn't know I had to tell you to do your job". She knows she has an order to complete and regardless of whether I told her who I was there or not she knows she has to complete the order and place it at the shelf for pickup. And when I first entered there was already an order sitting on the shelf. Did someone have to tell her to make that one too?She didn't like that I said that to her so she kicked me out and told me to never come back.I know she's a new hire cause I go to that shop often and don't recognize her at all, she is very rude and unprofessional. She is an old black woman manager in this Braintree location to be specific and this happened this afternoon just after 5pm.

I honestly used to love potbelly, but the Italian sub I ordered today was pathetic and a waste of my money. There was hardly any meat on it and whoever made it should be ashamed to send that to a customer. The only reason I have it two stars was that the salad I received was good and I have enjoyed my food there from the past. I won't be ordering again

I went there for the first time couple weeks ago and I gotta said that I was really impress by the architecture inside. It was confusing at first but with the assistance of that young lady named Valerie, the process for me went smoothly and the sandwich was really good. Mostly giving it 5 star cause the customer service I received I believe that such thing is great qualities.
