Extremely fresh ingredients. Unique sushi options; for example, white tuna. Excellent service. Highly recommended local sushi place.

For a suburban area to serve decent Japanese food is rare. They do a lot of take out orders and they get busy on the weekends. They have good tasting sashimi, sushi, and hand rolls. I would avoid the rice bowls such as chicken or beef. Rolls were fresh and the waitress was friendly and honest. Parking can be located on the street or in the back for complimentary parking.

New to Braintree Was looking for a sushi restaurant on line and I saw this place. So decided let’s give it a try. The appetizers and sushi was amazing!! Our waitress was so sweet and very attentive. Will definitely be back! Thank you ?

So we've been wanting to try this sushi bar for some time. That being said, a couple of things need to be addressed. The waitress spent most of her time on the phone instead of paying attention to the guest. Clean place, but nothing to make you feel welcome and inviting, and there is little engagement with the patrons. The food was moderately good, but nothing to write home about the price point was a bit on the high end, but for good sushi, it's worth it. This is more of a cliche place. It checks the basic boxes, but I'll have to try it again just to see if this review makes any changes. Oh, clean the ceiling fan, no wants dust and dirt flying into their food.

Hey, hey! So, I found myself in Braintree, Mass. Yeah, I know, sounds like a fruit's brain, right? Anyway, stumbled into this joint, Sake Japanese. Let me tell ya, the place is a real looker! Most restaurants just throw up some generic art and call it a day. But not Sake Japanese. No, no. It's like walking into a Quentin Tarantino samurai dream. The decor? Top-notch. Made me feel like I was in Kyoto and not, ya know, Braintree. Almost forgot I was in Massachusetts for a minute, and let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want a break from that? The experience? Immersive. Like IMAX for your taste buds and eyeballs. If you ever find yourself lost in Braintree, and let's be real, who plans to go there, make sure to swing by. It's worth the detour! Cheers to Sake Japanese for making Braintree feel a bit more... international. Five stars!

Good sushi super fresh raw fish options but where it kinda fell flat for me was the cooked appetizers and the drink selection. The fried appetizers tasted a bit like old or stale grease and the drink menu was very limited my taro milk boba tea was pretty watery I'm pretty sure it was made from a grocery store

Hey folks, ya ever been to Braintree, Mass? Sounds like somewhere a mathematician might live, huh? *chuckles* Well, I took a pit stop at this place called Sake Japanese. And boy, I gotta tell ya, they really put the 'art' in 'starters'. The decor in there? It's like stepping right into an elegant Japanese garden. I half expected to bump into a samurai or two while waiting for my sushi roll. And Braintree, known for its... well, its trees, now can boast about having a little slice of Japan right there in its backyard. If you're ever in Massachusetts and have a hankering for some sushi and a visual treat, you know where to go. Five stars for Sake Japanese. Keep it up, folks!

I came here for a family dinner. The atmosphere and food was great. The waitress was very accommodating and diligent despite working by herself.

Wow..I eat Sushi at least once a week and every week for decades and this spot was off the hook good. Fresh Sushi and excellent service as good or better than many pricier spots in Boston and Metro West.

This sushi place was very good. Sushi was very fresh but a little expensive. The people working there weren’t too friendly though.

Excellent. It was delivered but traveled well. The bento box was great. Very fresh. The sushi and miso soup were also very good.

This place is very good and they serve what you would expect from Japanese cuisine. The service was what you expect in general - sometimes there's a little bit of an extra waiting time, and sometimes there's not. It does seem like they run short staffed sometimes, but that's everywhere and the staff working (at least when I was there) seemed to be hustling to provide a good experience. The ambiance is ok - nothing too special, nothing bad. Overall it might not be the best place around, but it's still pretty good and I highly recommend them.

Been here a few times over the years, food has always tasted great and not crazy expensive. We went on a weekend and was a bit dead inside but lots of take coming and going. Also parking all around, so it’s easy to get a spot and free.
