When I’m missing Beijing, I usually end up here. I really enjoy their noodle dishes and I was surprised at how good the 冰糖葫芦 (sweet hawthorns) were because it’s been hard for me to find ones in Boston that comes close to ones you get on the streets in China. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is true to the name. For me, it tastes like Beijing.
I was so excited to find this tiny hidden northern street food place when I was last in Allston! finding a place that served tanghulu, jian bing, and do fu nao here in boston made my day. honestly I wouldn't have cared much about quality out of excitement, but the food here is actually quite good!
