Excellent food, that's the key. Pricing a few dollars higher than most local "pubs" but lower than most nice restaurants around.... and this food was BETTER. Also good beer list... and they know how to pour Guinness properly. Service was perfect too. This was our first time , but we're coming back often.

Really enjoyed the fish pie (as an Irish expat it's hard to find here at all, let alone well made). Service was great despite it only being one person tending the bar as well as 5 other tables, too.

OMG! The fish and chips is the best ever, hands down! The rest of their menu looks just as tantalizing! What an amazing find!

Butter lobster roll had plenty of meat and was tasty but slightly salty. Gave the creme brulee a try expecting the ice cream to be melted upon delivery but it wasn't! Great presentation. I'll definitely order again but perhaps try the mayo lobster roll instead. Maybe the butter made the hot roll too salty.

A fun and lively restaurant & bar with really good service, good drinks, and a solid menu of food choices. Unfortunately, when it's busy the noise level is insane & really detracts from enjoying the experience.

My husband and I were here for a late weekend lunch. We sat at the bar and the atmosphere was very nice- good beer selection and a number of different TVs with different sports on. The plantain tacos were SO good and you can get them with or without eggs (I assume because they’re on both the brunch and lunch menus). Will come back again!

A friend of mine took me to Devlin’s for lunch on January 2nd. He got tuna poke bowl and I’ve got chicken quesadillas and tomato soup. Everything was fresh, delicious and absolutely stunningly looking. The service was very pleasant too. I can’t wait to go back.

Wanted to try a new spot with pub food and a variety of options. Decided on Devlin's. We had House Nachos as starter (I liked them, maybe more chicken would make better? Regardless, worth a try. Meal: Confit Chicken Pot Pie (one of the better ones I've had) Dessert: Eggnog Cheesecake (super tasty and unique)

I went to Devlin's for their New Year's Day pajama party brunch and it was the best decision I've made so far in 2024. I had the Carolina bbq brisket Benny - it was busy but we didn't wait long for food and when it came it was SO GOOD. We had boozy hot coffees that were to diiie for. Our server was super attentive even though she was definitely busy with other tables as well - it was such a chill vibe. I'm a server so I always pay attention to how happy and how much fun the staff is having and it looks like a great place to work that truly mirrors the experience that the guests have. I can't wait to go back for more brunches and dinners! 5⭐️!

Just what you want in the neighborhood.—good food, attentive, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is varied but not overly ambitious—it’s high-end bar food that’s well prepared, plentiful, not too fussy, and delicious.

I’ve been a regular at Devlin’s for over 2 years and this review is long overdue! My family threw a surprise bday here for me which was also a blast. The food is amazing, lots of comfort food items and also fun desserts, drinks, and apps. The patio is an absolute gem, one of the best in greater Boston. Can’t say enough good things and highly recommend giving Devlin’s a try!

It's one of my favorite spots. The food is always consistent. I got the plantain tacos. They weren't bad! The steak ones were better though. The sticky toffee pudding dessert was amazing. The service is always great. Don't miss trying this place out.

Steak tips the right size for medium-rare were perfect, as was the grilled brussel sprouts and lobster casserole...in a comfy classic atmosphere backed by attentive wait and generous barkeep services. Made our multi-cultural trio feel relaxed and focused on each other's conversations. ✅✅?
