If anything had to take-over Athen's this was a great place to do it. They have revamped the space into a cozy space where you can enjoy great coffee and homemade baked goods along with great homemade breakfast sandwiches.

I visited this cafe for a coffee and wanted to add oat milk, but it wasn't available at the self-serve station. After realzing this I went back to the counter and I asked the staff for oat milk, one of them seemed visibly annoyed by my request.To ease the situation, I offered to pay for it. Despite my offer, the interaction remained tense, and after another employee provided me with Oat Milk the same employee with the poor attitude questioned whether I had been charged for the oat milk.This experience was disheartening. The apparent annoyance at a common request and the implication that I should pay extra for a basic addition like oat milk were both surprising and off-putting. This lack of basic customer service and the negative attitude from the staff have convinced me not to return.Their behavior was not only disappointing but unacceptable.

I get breakfast here like every morning, and I can’t recommend Sophie’s enough! Jocelyn, Sophie, and all of the staff are always super friendly and helpful and the food is amazing.The coffee is delicious with lots of customization options, and there’s always fun seasonal specials to choose from. The breakfast sandwiches are always out of this world delicious, with freshly made bread, and also have a bunch of customization options. The homemade pastries/baked goods are the best around, the chocolate chip scones and muffins being my favorite. They also sell whole loaves of their fresh bread, and it is sooooo good!Sophie’s never disappoints!

Quaint little new coffee shop. We've been 2x. The 1st time was their opening day. We got a few things to go and tried them at home. The molasses cookie was fantastic. Must be 5-6" in diameter, thick and very tasty. But the 2 scones (lemon and cinnamon chip) were very dry and not nearly as flavorful.2nd trip today. Their large iced tea was good, but not nearly as "large" as other places. Also got an everything bagel. Not sure how they warmed it (microwave?) because it wasn't either toasted or grilled. It was good, but not the texture you expect.3rd visit. Took some friends who hadn't been here yet. It was busy when we went in, and they were definitely under staffed. The barista kept taking orders and giving out baked goods. But she took about 8 orders without getting any hot drinks. It literally took 15-20 minutes to get my tea. I'd eaten the whole molasses cookie (just as tasty as the 1st visit) before I got the tea. It took even longer for our friends to get toast and a breakfast sandwich.If there's more than a couple people ahead of you in the order line, or seem to be waiting for anything, don't plan on being in and out fast. Especially if there's just a 1 barista and a cook.

This is an amazing place to get breakfast and lunch! The bacon egg and cheese croissant is excellent ant way u get it, I also recommend the breakfast burrito, serving size is HUGE, ther is muffins and baked goods. For lunch I recommend the BLT, big and crunchy.bacon is perfect. Worth every penny spent.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level easy door access.
