I’ve tried the food here a a couple of times and it’s been pretty underwhelming, especially for the price. $20 for a pretty plain quesadilla and $5.20 for tres leches dessert that came in the same cup as the side of sour cream is WILD. Where’s the value?

Came here after seeing a movie and wanted to try a burrito! It was actually really delicious and the customer service was amazing! I’m always skeptical of Mexican food in Boston especially being from California but this place didn’t disappoint, Will definitely be returning!

This place is the real deal. In an area with limited Mexican food, this place is shockingly good. I've tried a quesadilla, the birria tacos, chicken tacos, and the guacamole and they've all been great, but the chicken tinga torta is what I always come back to. It's a great deal, it's delicious and it's huge! I usually split the two halves between 2 meals, and it tastes delicious (and reheats well too) Everything I've had here has been flavorful, high quality, and worth coming back for. My only complaint is I wish the chips and guacamole weren't so expensive for the potion size, but that's a minor thing

What an extraordinary experience!! The food was exquisite. A burst of flavors and quality. The pineapple pico de gallo was great, I loved the torta carne asada, and oh, the desserts! A cozy atmosphere, super nice for taking photos even in the bathroom, and the service and attention from the staff were excellent. We'll definitely be back!

I was ecstatic when I found out Chilicates had opened a Brookline location and they do not disappoint! Excellent food, kind employees and a fabulous atmosphere. I eat here or have it delivered almost weekly and never get tired of it. Some of the best and most authentic Mexican food in the area.
This place was absolutely some of the BEST mexican food I've ever had! I don't eat red meat, but this place (unlike most others) actually did have something for me to eat! The food was delicious and came insanely fast! The Jarritos were SOO GOOD! This place is definitely a must go if you're in the Brookline area!

place has nice decor and lighting and service is nice but the food is inedible. i had a shrimp burrito that was somehow dry inside (huh?) and a we also tried their steak burrito whose beans and rice had no flavor and the beans were kinda hard still. for the same price id rather go to Amelia or Los Amigos and be sure of a quality meal. the only good thing here was the habanero sauce.
