“One of the best restaurants in the area. Recommend the eggplant calzone or any of the authentic azeri dishes, not all of which are on the menu. Vegetarians will have multiple excellent options, vegans less so. The bread is baked fresh and very high quality, the price is right, and the whole staff is friendly and helpful.“
“The most delicious food! My favorites are the lentil soup and the fattouch salad. ALWAYS delicious. My absolute favorite place to sit and enjoy a yummy lunch when I’m working in North Cambridge. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. Kind, authentic people making it all happen. Sweet, family run business.“
“First time trying this restaurant. It was excellent. Had the chicken kebob plate and it was very good. All the food is freshly made with the best ingredients. The owner is most definitely service oriented and treats his patrons with great service and a nice meal!“
“Hands down! This is the best middle eastern food you can get. Great hospitality, friendly staff. Price over value is very good. All food items including the salads are great. I tried the whole roasted chicken, and I’m speechless. اكل اسكندرااااانى يا ناااس والاتحاد سيد البلد“
“I hadn't been to a Persian restaurant in the Greater Boston area before. I am glad I went to this one. It is a typical hole in the wall, "blink and you'll miss it," outlet in Watertown. The food was lip smackingly fantastic. The chicken was grilled to perfection and succulent enough to melt in my mouth. I recommend the kabob plate, which comes with rice pilaf and grilled tomatoes (delicious), with a bottle of a carbonated buttermilk based drink to wash it down.“
“We usually order from a different Shawarma place in Somerville, but decided to give Sam's a try. The food was very good, and in good sized portions. They were good about following requests to leave things out of the wraps. Note that they do the style with fries on the side rather than in the wrap. My only complaint is that they list some, but not all, of the ingredients on their site. So if you have things you can't eat, I definitely recommend calling them to double check. My partner can't do creamy sauces, and they listed tahini sauce but not garlic sauce in the lamb/beef shawarma, which ended up being a problem. Not a huge thing, just annoying that they make it look like everything is listed when it isn't.“
“I love this place! Always fresh ingredients, very pleasant people work here. I am European and I can tell- this is the best authentic Gyros in Boston area!I prefer lamb Gyro, but the chicken one is delicious as well. Their baklava is to die for! The owner and his beautiful, charming wife are so kind and welcoming, so I feel I often just stop by to greet them and grab a small bite. I highly recommend this place! 5 stars ?!“
“Incredible food — some of the best tikka kebab and falafel we’ve had in a lonngggg time. Super authentic, local, incredibly friendly and delicious. There’s nothing more I love than finding a great hole in the wall and this is it. MUST get the baklava.Vegetarian options: Falafel“
“I have been meaning to leave this review for a while since this is one of my favorite restaurants. They have some of the most incredible food! Everything about this restaurant is perfect. Great ambience, service, and delicious food. I now don't live nearby but any time I am in the area I always try to stop by. Great place to go with a group to share a mixed appetizer platter and lavash bread.“
