A board game lover's heaven. I could spend hours and hours learning and playing new board games, and the price to enter is super reasonable ($15 on weekends)! They have a huge selection, including some games that are not sold in the US. Staff is knowledgeable and nice. I also love that you can bring your own snacks and alcohol.

BOBBY SMOOTH SAVED MY LIFE! Whole milk is so okay...it was great playing the games! Bobby gave us another game to try after the one we were playing! Bobby smooth looked me in my eyes and told me I was enough. Bobby then proceeded to officiate our group marriage...himself included.

Kaleb with a K is the man. He made the BEST banana smoothie I have had in Boston and he was so friendly as a server. He saved our group of fives game night. 5 stars. Will be coming back. He’s my guy.

A nice spot for a fun night out with friends or family. We were able to get our names on the waitlist and come in on a Saturday night after waiting only 20-30 minutes on the list. There is an incomprehensibly large game selection that offers anything one might want. There is plenty of space and the ambiance is relaxing.

A shout-out for the super friendly staff in this one-of-a-kind place.It's unique with a board game cate. I hosted my daughter's 13 years birthday party and everybody reported a good time. The staff helped me get a good table -- even on a busy Sunday -- and made excellent paninis and cappuccinos while I appropriately hit a few tables away (yes, it's that age).

Both my fiancé and I came by this place, hoping to get a drink and play a board game before heading to Coolidge Corner Theater for the midnight viewing. Imagine our excitement dwindle down to annoyance after not finding any staff available at the front and back of the house (yes, we walked to the back) for the 25+ minutes we waited around. 3 other walk-in customers also waited in line, only to end up leaving or walking about. After being unable to locate any staff members, we ended up leaving. It would not matter anyways, considering how packed the place was (on a Sat night) with no clear directives of how to seat ourselves and pay for the service. Sad to say this is a disappointing experience and we did not get the chance to experience the board game/cafe vibes of it. Lower your expectations before giving this place a try if going on a busy night.

I have been here once before and did enjoy my evening playing games. However, tonight was a different story. My friends and I had planned for a while and came from far away to play games tonight, however the whole place was closed for a private event. I had previously checked the website, Instagram and Facebook to make sure this wouldn’t happen, however they hadn’t posted anything about this, so we had to go home very disappointed.Two other groups also came at the same time and were turned away. I’d love to come back but not sure that I would when it could be closed without notice and our night totally thrown off.Please post when you are closed!
