In a pinch, I called a friend and asked. What's the best place to get burgers close by? And he said straight away Lee's burgers in coolidge corner.They did not disappoint. at first, the burgers looked small but they were very filling and very tasty. The french fries were great and the onion rings were phenomenal. I've lived within a mile of this place for 8 years and this was my first time going. I will definitely be back again and again.
Since my last review a year ago, my husband has recently taken a liking to the hotdog (plain) and comes here every couple weeks to get his hotdog fix. Now that I work from home, I joined him today. When we order here (generally to go- I'd pick up on my way home from work), I normally get a cheeseburger, but this time I got a grilled chicken sandwich - but with one major adaptation: no mayo- sriracha ranch instead. As burger joints go, they get top marks. I highly recommend the fries and burgers, but not the teriyaki chicken. The fries are super crispy and they load up each order. I don't recommend the teriyaki chicken because it is too messy and falls apart. If I have to eat a sandwich with a fork and knife, it gets downgraded. Burgers are cooked as you like and you get get almost anything as a topping. Great place to stop if you are looking for burger and fries. I am a Five Guys fan...read full review
