It’s an ok restaurant. The portions are small for the price and there aren’t enough vegetables on the plate. I expected more than one piece of broccoli per person, at least. Waitstaff is extremely attentive and they refill your water without you even having to ask. The place is also clean and comfortable to sit in with a pleasant ambiance.If you’re desperate it’s fine but far from the best place to have Chinese food in suburban Boston.

Downhill - all the way down!!! This place used to be a gem under prior management Benny Wu. But after dining there the other night we will never go back! The service was the worst I have ever seen. We had to ask the waiter to come over and take our order after sitting down for 20 mins. She seems annoyed we called her over, and more intent on resting her head on a booth. The place wasn't even that busy. We had to ask for a drink three times before she brought it to us. The order was wrong on two dishes. Even the other male waiter seemed indifferent o. Working. Just terrible. Terrible terrible terrible. So disappointed because we used to go here at least once a century a month. Oh Tsang, how we miss you!!!

I've been going here for years and it has really gone downhill since the ownership change. Food was greasy and bland. The food is completely different than it was. They no longer serve free lunch specials in weekends. The place was virtually empty at lunchtime on a Saturday. A shame.

I always order takeout, but Mandarin is always filled with customers. I'm going to dine in one day. The food is always good, great variety on the menu. The ladies at the front desk who take my order are always pleasant. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
We order takeout from here often because it is close by and it is fast. Like, we will call in the order and it will be ready when we get there 10 minutes later. Overall, the food is reasonably solid. Definitely not the best Chinese in the area, but solid. It caters to the local crowd, which tends to skew older and less adventurous palate-wise.

Always pass this place and finally ordered on a whim on the way home from a wedding. Just what the doctor ordered- orange chicken had orange peel in it, super tasty Lo mein, crispiest scallion pancakes. If you are craving Chinese- go here!
