Home fries were a soggy pile of grease (probably bc they are left in a large pile at the corner of the grill). “Marinade” on the turkey tips was a slather of cheap sugary bbq sauce that rendered them inedible. Coffee was subpar. We also had to constantly brace from the cold and tuck in our elbows as the daily delivery was being brought in — through the front door

Do yourself a favor and get the Irish Breakfast plate at Martin’s. It’s absolutely delicious and probably the best breakfast dish that I’ve ever had. Eggs cooked to perfection, which by itself is a rare find. The black and white pudding was packed with flavor, really delicious. The sausages were fantastic. The homefries have an amazing seasoning, definitely the best I’ve ever had. Overall just an amazing breakfast. Thanks Martin’s!

Our go to for local breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Food is delicious, affordable (and huge portions easily 2 meals), highly varied, and fresh; the service is quick and friendly. First place we take anybody who visits, and the place we go when we want excellent food without prices to match.Vegetarian options: Most options have meat, but there are still plenty of veggie dishes and almost anything can probably be made veggie.

We live in Hyde Park and travel to many places to eat. Have been to Martin's in the past. Love a good diner. We didn't mind that is was New Year's Day and busy it's the nostalgia of it all. We came in and was greeted right away. We sat right at the bar to eat. I don't like to give negative reviews but I would like to mention the lack of concern from our waitress. I did not get her name. My husband ordered pancackes with turkey bacon and tea. I started with coffee and had a question about the fruit bowl. Specifically what fruit? The waitress was not sure and did not have enough concern to find out. So I passed on eating and just had coffee. My husband asked if it's possible to find out. She mentioned if there was an allergy they can exclude it but how can we exclude if we don't know what's in it : ( The waitress actually said it was really busy as if it was too much for her to take a lean over and ask considering we were seated all the way at the end. Needless to say I still left a 20% tip. and I mentioned her service was not appreciated and it's about the customers needs. I have adult children that are in the food service industry and I mentioned this to them. They agree it was unacceptable. 1/1/24 about 1:40 pm

This place is so cute I been passing it for 30 years never went inside. But I did the other day I was not disappointed. I had regular eggs Benedict it was perfect with the hash browns and a great price as well . I will be going ?
