Party Favors is a Brookline institution! I've gotten multiple different things to celebrate for my partner over the years (and vice versa). The staff are always very friendly and accommodating to help make every event special! Recently had our wedding cake tasting through Party Favors which was excellent. They also contribute to the community such as giving out free cupcakes on Brookline First Light Festival! I'm happy to support the local business and it's top notch.

Hello, If I had the option to post 10 stars I would have chosen 10 stars !!!! I was introduced to Party Favors many years ago from my best friend whom we as a family,called Uncle John, because he was very close to my daughter and I . Uncle john always used Party Favors to end his very exclusive dinners and events he would host at the Devonshire Apartments in Downtown crossing in Boston MA He himself was a very elegant man who wanted nothing but the best for himself and his clients,that lived there, and they all appreciated him for doing that for them. Party Favors always provided that for him, as well as for my daughter and I because we live on the Cape and on any birthday he made sure that he provided me with my favorite cake from them which is the Rocky Road Cake and my daughter's was any of their Gluten Free which were always amazing !! Uncle John is no longer with us for the last 4 years so it has been that long since I have had a cake from them, but I recently hosted my daughter's baby shower at a Boston restaurant and I not only needed the best Cupcakes and Gluten Free ones in addition to the regular ones. So who did I think to call ??? Party Favors !!! So my daughter once again got to have the best Gluten Free cupcakes at her baby shower but ala Uncle John, her guest got to enjoy the best cupcakes ever!!! They also provided all the balloons which were also beautiful and delivered everything !! As an added surprise to me they also included a Rocky Road Cake as a gift from them and Uncle John that was such as surprise that I cried happy tears !! THANK YOU PARTY FAVORS and their AMAZING STAFF NETTY and SARA as well as the OWNERS you are the BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noreen Bahring

My family and I have been coming to get cupcakes here for YEARS! Their frosting is outstanding and it's easily our favorite go-to place. A few weeks ago, my family and I picked up a couple chocolate cupcakes. Much to our surprise, they tasted like cinnamon. The cinnamon flavor of the cupcake was so overwhelming that we couldn't finish them. Unfortunately, we learned that the cinnamon flavor is a result of their new cupcake recipe. So sad to have to say goodbye after being a customer for almost 40 years.

I used to not be a really big cake person, until I met party favors. I’ve lived in Boston for 4 years, and party favors is my go to cake place. The actual cake is extremely moist and the butter cream melts in your mouth while being the perfect level of sweet. If I ever get married, I will go to party favors for my wedding cake. I highly recommend checking out this place and I hope they keep up the incredible work.

We have been loyal customers at Party Favors in Brookline, MA for over 30 years. We enjoyed theirpastries. However, I purchased a French Apple Tart on Nov. 9th, 2023 & was disappointed.Not only Party Favor’s prices has gone up, but quality has gone down. The French Apple Tart purchased yesterday was Not Fresh & Stale, it tasted like it has been in the fridge for a while,definitely substandard Quality.

20 years ago I used to live very close to Party Favors and remember getting delicious cakes and cupcakes for every special occasion. The cake was dense and moist, the buttercream unparalleled. The decorations were amazing - poinsettias and snowmen and leaves.Why am I using the past tense? Well, I had such fond memories of this place that I recently requested some local family join me on an excursion to Party Favors while in town for the weekend. It was almost like a pilgrimage.I was disappointed. Bought 4 cupcakes and 2 cookies. The cake was dry. The cookies were stale. The buttercream not as robust.Change is inevitable but I was hoping that it wouldn’t happen here. No need for me to come back. But, please, by all means, you enjoy.

VERY reasonably priced and tasty baked treats (cupcakes, mini cupcakes, cookies, tiramisu, etc). I got two 4" cakes and three cookies for less than $12. Also a great selection of fun party supplies, cards, seasonal gifts, and candy. Only complaint is that they close a little on the earlier side.
