Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Food at price point: 5/5 The server was almost too personable. I do not like to have a conversation on the average day. And the neighboring table was the worst group of women maybe in the entire world. Out of the restaurants control so it's fine. You must get the dole whip drink!!!!

As far as the food goes, I came in with highexpectations based on other Sichuan places we’ve eaten and really enjoyed. Unfortunately it missed the mark with a wide margin. The food was bland and hot at the same time. Overused the Schiuan pepper (which are pure heat) but lacking other spices to give it a flavor. Good sized portions. The service however was excellent.Update: the cocktails have a nice collection but they’re a little weak and a hit or miss. Some are nice, others bland and watery. The service at the bar is a little pushy. It can get very loud on weekends.

The drinks were delicious. Three of our meals (all different) caused our mouths to go numb and made even the water taste bad after.

Kid-friendliness: There’s no kids menu, but they were very welcoming and accommodating to our 3.5 year old and infant. Keep in mind that it’s an intimate space so if you (like me) have a toddler that wants to act a fool, it’s a bit stressful. We went on a Monday evening and it filled in quite a bit, so I assume they’re typically busy.

This place is one of our favorite. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. If you can take in spicy food, the Chengdu dry hot chicken is a must try. The staff were amazing and friendly. The ambience is moody and romantic, perfect for a date night. You'll find this place busy even on a weekday. Highly recommend!

Only went here for drinks - they were just fine. I got a mocktail, which came out just like syrup... the Malatang drink was definitely creative but I won't recommend.

My partner and I got the crispy fish fillets, double cooked bacon, and a side of rice - TASTE: 4/5 - loved the salt & pepper style of the fish w its chili aromatics. The thick-cut pork was fatty and satisfying, and noted a hint of the spicy chili peppers TEXTURE: 4/5 - the fish fillets were fried so well and had a great crunch! PRICE: 4/5 - most of the entrees start at $20, so price points are on the higher end. Wish they came w rice though SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - good portions. Came for a light lunch, and had to take home leftovers SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 1:30pm on a Sunday, and there were only a couple tables filled. Our food came out 10-15min later, and our waiter regularly refilled our water. Wish their bar was open during lunch service; we'd definitely come back for all of their cocktails! ATMOSPHERE: 5/5 - hip and modern decor. I can tell it'd be busy and bustling at night PARKING: 4/5 - parked nearby at a metered street spot on Harvard St

Used to love this place but it has gone downhill a bit. We dined last night and the service was atrocious. We waited at least twenty minutes for a server to come over despite them being right nearby hanging out with another table. The food is solid and the drinks are fantastic. I would give the food 7 stars, the drinks 9 stars and the service 0 stars. A dish was forgotten, almost no check-ins on if we needed more drinks, how the food was, etc. And the bar closes at 9:45? C'mon guys, we know this is Boston/Brookline, but 9:45 is ridiculous. Oh, and you can't split more than 3 credit cards.

Everything was amazing!! My sister picked this place for her birthday and it was the perfect lighter fare Szechuan and exceeded my expectations!! The ambiance of the place was very inviting and our server brought a positive vibe, and was timely and communicative of any allergies / restrictions. I ordered the Gloria cocktail and WOW. Yes, the cocktails are gorgeous, but also delicious. Probably my favorite cocktail I've had in a while and that says a lot. We will be back!!

I'll start with I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food (this is technically Szechuan cuisine), so I didn't try many of the "authentic" dishes. I did try the crab rangoon, pork dumplings with chili vinaigrette, beef teriyaki kebabs, and white rice. The crab rangoon pieces were lightly fried, the perfect amount of crunch and crab filling, and paired well with their sweet orange dipping sauce. The pork dumplings were my favorite part because of the chili vinaigrette. The sauce had a small kick to it, but was not overpowering at all; and the dumplings were stuffed with a large amount of pork. I appreciate the "spicy" graphic next to items on the menu that are hot. Several different drinks were ordered at the table; each with a beautiful presentation and unique flavor. I tried their version of a spicy margarita- the Broken Spanish, and enjoyed it very much. The service was great, our waitress was really helpful and friendly. May need a light inside to see the menu, the restaurant is DARK. I would return for a drink and an appetizer.

It's hard to decide whether the true star of Blossom Bar is the food, the drinks, or the friendly staff. The drinks were some of the best I've had in a long time, and I've never been more excited to eat leftovers. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and seemed to have a wonderful rapport with the regulars. The Duan's Whip was one of the best cocktails I've ever had, and the eggplant with spicy garlic sauce was phenomenal.
