Boba always consistently cooked, tea and fruit are fresh and not oversteeped. What makes this location #1 in my opinion is the popcorn chicken. No other place in Boston makes popcorn chicken right except this specific Tbaar location (and maybe the one in Quincy). Trust me, I've tried all of them. The chicken is juicy, I think they use tapioca flour for the batter so the fried bits are also chewy and not dry. They use actual fried basil leaves and not basil powder. Just wish the portions were a little larger. Another minor con is that when ordering delivery, you can't make topping substitutions for drinks—but I get it, things are busy enough already.

If you're looking for a cute place to just sit and chill with your friends, this place is good for that! The space itself is small but cozy with games like Uno provided if you wanted to play. The drink itself that we got was decent nothing too special, but definitely there were other options that looked pretty good to try! I would definitely come back here to try the other menu options. The staff are also very fast at making the drinks and were friendly!

I've been here previously a few times after dinner and gotten some of the drinks - you can customize the sugar and ice amounts as you can at any bubble tea place worth its salt. I had a lychee drink that was oddly sour and watery but other than that, the drinks here didn't leave much of an impression on me, good or bad. The thing that definitely stuck with me on my most recent visit is - when you come into the store, there's a ledge or a step down that's very easy to miss. Which I did. I reached over to throw something out into the bin right next to the step and almost tripped over my feet. All this happened right within sight of the two people behind the counter who tried not to laugh outright. It was super embarrassing and I would've appreciated them being like, hey, you all right or something instead of watching it unfold, all bug-eyed. The point of all this: watch out for that step! No bubble tea is worth twisting your ankle.

It was awesome! I asked for boba and I wanted to add my own toppings (rat guts) and they let me! For some reason I got some weird looks butttt... Anyway the drink was great my grandpa chocked and died (that silly goose) and yeah! 10/10
I go all possible Tbaar One on Huntington Ave, MBTA local buss #66 stop Fenwood St one has Osaka Yaki, Okonomi yaki !! Both Takayuki and Okonomi yaki has taste of OSAKA Japan, I was born there in 1965. This whole thing proves OSAKA is China and Both Korea. Japanese hasn't been able to do this good, in the USA, and other countries. Most of Japanese don't know, but biologically we can prove. And taste of food tells where is roots. Again Japanese are made of basically mix of Chinese, Korean and Russian. Know The TruthThese Takoyaki (6 pc $7.95) and Okonomi Yaki (not available at Brookline) are Chanpions

I had terrible pick up experience. I asked for my online pick up order the girls at the cashier told me that will take 10 more mins it is not ready which was totally fine. I came back to the car and wait 20 min to make sure it is ready. When I turned back to the store a guy just told me not ready 10 mins. He didnt even look at the name of the order. I told him that I was told 10 mins earlier to make sure If he know which order he is talking about. He said boba still cooking. So what about my wasted time you liars, why do you keep people waiting if you dont even know which order why are asking for ??
This place was absolutely horrendous, the service was bad and I ate their popcorn chicken which was grey and undercooked and I threw up in less than an hour. The matcha was awful and all around I do not recommend this place if you don’t want to puke your brains out

Pretty average tea: got roasted oolong milk tea, couldn't taste the oolong (usually oolong is pretty fragrant and you cane easily notice in your milk tea), and bubbles are pretty tough.However, the Chinese crepe is fabulous: I've got supreme version with sausages and pork floss. Very satisfying.

Service is normally good but I had a weird experience here today :/ I ordered my usual smoothie with boba, and when it came out there was no boba. I mentioned that I had asked for boba and a different worker from the person who took my order began repeatedly and adamantly insisting that I had not. He said that he had heard me order, that they couldn’t add the charge for the boba now and that almost no one orders that smoothie with boba there (not sure how this was relevant). The store did kindly end up adding boba to my drink, I wasn’t upset in the first place so I’m not sure where that reaction came from but it was jarring and I’m not comfortable returning
