The last two time we were there was fantastic. But this time, the food was bland: burger was bland, fried chicken was dry, and the fried fish sandwich was mediocre. Fries were terrible. Although they were hot, they were bland. Almost like frozen fries from the grocery store. Service was great but when the food is not enjoyable, overall experience is disappointing.
Very overpriced and food was mediocre at best. I got a tuna poke bowl which was mostly rice, very dry and not tasty. 5 ultra thin pieces of tuna...ridiculous. Others I was with got fried clam strips. They were super chewy and almost seemed like the scraps of a batch. Haddock was dry. Great service and pretty restaurant but Never going again.

Tonight's experience at legals was by far the worst food and service. The lobster roll was microwaved and the bartender was our server (I assume understaffed with no help) and he had most of the dinning room to cover. Legals has disappointed us.

I'm so pleased to report that our private party at Legal went so well! I thought we were hosting 21, but 29 showed up! the Legal team quickly added more tables, chairs, and setups. Several of my diners had special dietary requests and preferences, so a little deviation from our pre-set menu seemed effortless to the Legal team of servers. Everyone was pleased with their quality and quantity of the food, and we all loved the room. I didn't even know that this room existed. with its tall ceiling and wall of mirrors, the room is elegant. I forgot to bring the flowers, but they were not really needed because the space was lovely. Kudos to Jessica, our group's coordinator, to our servers were so kind, and the General Manager even came to check on us. This was an all around success! I highly recommend Legal Seafoods Burlington for your next 20-30 person dinner event.

Great staff and service. The clam chowder was among the best I ever had. We were in a large party of close to 30 people and they were very accommodating. It was a very enjoyable experience for all of us.

Stay far away from these people. I had an experience at 1 of their restaurants in Braintree. I was issued a credit. They provided me with a comp. Card that 2 months later I took to the Burlington location and they told me. It was no good if you could even imagine it had $0 on it. Even though I showed him an email from the general manager who sent it and the numbers for the card were all in the email spell. They told me they wouldn't honor it. The general manager laughed at because he thinks this is funny. That's right. The general manager at this store in Burlington laughed at me in my face because he thinks this is funny. I just drove 30 minutes to give this place another try and this guy thinks it's funny. I'm gonna show him funny when I file this in court tomorrow. Just so they can show up and explain to a judge what they did. Am I funny now?Ha ha.Am I funny like a clown?Do I amuse you

Enjoyed a very long, extended lunch with a friend. The food and service were great, and they did not rush us at all. Of course, we weren't totally inconsiderate (we arrived at 1:15 after at the lunch rush), but we stayed for a couple of hours and no one rushed us at all.
I went to this resturant in Chestnut Hill for lunch on April 9th and it was so fantastic. I went back to the Burlington one - since it is closet to me. Order the same items and they were not edible. Fried clams were old and dried out, french fries with the clams were also not the same. The same items in Chestnut hill was so fantastic even the large long french fries Sent the meal back in Burlington last night. 6 people order the wedge salad on the 9th they looked amazing so I ordered one last night also aweful. Not a fan of the salmon on it also looked old and dried out. Even the clam chowder which we have had in the past in Burlington which is usually amazing was aweful last night. Tasted like old dried tough clams and a water like consistentsy. Couldn't get the manager or the check I just wanted to pay and leave. Worst dinner out ever and not a birthday celebration. The Manager comped our complete bill. My friends salmon dinner was perfect and he ate every bite. But I guess they made it right by a complete comp. But not sure I would go back their again- and definitely not on a Sunday night.

I am a long time fan of Legals all the way back to their beginnings in Inman Square, Cambridge. BUT recently the proportion of fish to fries or other fillers has taken a bad turn. Scallops, my favorite and delicious, appeared on a small container (5) on a huge bed of French fries for $38! My son had fish and chips and the small amount of actual fish was hid under excessive breading and over a mass of fries. I am a legalrewards member but this change under new ownership is a move in the wrong direction for my beloved Legals.

Clam chowder tasted good with plenty of clams. Unfortunately, I became ill later that night and can only attribute it to the clams. Food took an awful long time to come. Patrons who came in after us received their orders well before us. Additionally the fish tacos were cold when they arrived. The bartender did take them off the bill however.
