“The place has more young college age people than I expect for a traditional Chinese restaurant. Interior design looks more like an American than an Asian restaurant. Food is good but pricy. I did like their river eel dish that is difficult to get from Asian restaurants, where I usually get sea eels. Overall the food is moderately spicy so most people that have tried Chinese spicy food will be able to enjoy.“
“I have been coming here for almost 2 years. I love the sushi, it’s hand made and not frozen. They are run by the same two/three people and they are always helpful and I have had nothing but good experiences. Even better, as someone who has spent way too much money on sushi, this is the best priced sushi I have had: 2 orders of rolls, a soup, extra sauces, and a soda all for $20. Honestly some of the better sushi I have had, I moved to Natick and still make the drive out every few weeks to get my sushi here :) !!“
“I picked up the Sushi & Special Roll Large Party tray today that I ordered a few days ago. I had this for lunch while visiting my friend's house. As soon as they saw this party tray, they cheered a lot. It looks so delicious! and so great! Today my friend, his family and all of my family had a great time with this party tray and ate well and ate a lot. I'm strongly recommending this party plates.“
“Absolutely loved it! We had the karami and enmi ramen, and shared the gyoza. We finished every last drop of the ramen and wanted to bathe in the sauce on the gyoza OMG. It was thriving and happening on a Wednesday night, and the waitstaff were lovely and attentive. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!“
“Good Sushi and suburbs are two concepts you don't always link together. Wakefield, in particular, was a bit of a food culture change for us, having grown up in the city and having lived in Somerville for years, so when this place showed up, we just had to try it. Well, we were blown away. This is some of the best sushi I've had in New England. My wife and I both have some dietary restrictions, which can be tricky with Japanese food, but Allen and his family were extremely accommodating and made us feel like 1st class citizens. Everything we got was fresh, made to order and was extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend the omakase menu if you have the time and appetite, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail put this place heads up just about any sushi shop around.“
“This was one of the BEST omakase experiences I have ever had. The attention to detail was extraordinary. I ate at several two and three star Michelin restaurants last summer in France and I was happier with my dining experience at Umami. The quality of ingredients is absolutely stellar and it is truly a treat for all the senses. Go!!“
“This was an amazing Omasake experience in Lexington. Chef Mike prepares all of the sushi fresh in front of you. He is committed to pushing himself to create unique and different flavors. Definitely the best omakese we've had in the Boston area. Could not recommend more if you want great food with a relaxed, cozy atmosphere.“
“Great food, great service. The yakitori are grilled to perfection. The wait staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The drink menu offers an array of sake, cocktails, wine and beer. Cannot wait to go back and try more food!“
“Great menu all around. Ebi has an assortment of rolls from your typical American sushi rolls to their specials. Any roll ordered should be great. The menu is easy to understand and the ordering process was fast. Depending on the time and number of patrons checking out might take some time.Very clean with a warm atmosphere. I highly recommend the Somerville Role with an udon on a cold spring day.Parking: Must get a parking pass from the hostess/host or your car will get towedWheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking and a ramped entrance“
“From the delicious food to the friendly and attentive staff to the incredibly cool ambience, Karma is the place to dine at for a wonderful experience (especially if you have a gluten allergy like myself)! They have a completely separate gluten free menu and the staff are very knowledgeable of allergies. I ordered the spicy beef with a side of white rice and it vanished in no time at all! I can't wait to go back! 10/10 would recommend.“
