First time experience at area four. Caesar salad was delicious, pizza was just OK very dry. Hardly any tomato sauce. Very chewy prosciutto. Giant pretzel was also delicious. Service was average.

We've been regular diners at Area Four since shortly after its inception many years ago. A4 always had great food and excellent service, with a lively and fun atmosphere. Our recent visits to A4 have unfortunately been more disappointing than favorable. Whereas pizzas in the past were always well-assembled and flavorful, now every pie seems to be devoid of taste and assembled and cooked with indifference. I can't help but lay the blame for that on an inexperienced and inattentive kitchen staff. The wait staff now seems newish and inexperienced as well, but the real problem that needs to be addressed at A4 immediately is the mediocrity of the food. I wish it weren't so.

Went for lunch on a Saturday with a friend. We got a Caesar salad to share and two small pizzas. The salad was great and the pizzas were phenomenal! Service was adequate. Will definitely be back

Pretty good coffee and baked goods. Haven’t had the pizza! Most accessible through the outside entrance. Great spot if you work at one Kendall

One star to get the owner's attention about parking.Small businesses need to advocate for themselves as the city aggressively tickets and removes parking. Imagine another pandemic shutting down business in Kendall. You need to accommodate cars.

We were excited about trying out this restaurant after others raved about the pizza. The service was great, and so were the zero alcohol cocktails, but the ambiance and food were below average. Our table was in the corner of the dining room next to a stack of unused pizza boxes topped by a potted plant. We ordered the garlic knots, baby bok choy, and margherita pizza. The garlic knots were not knots, they were just big bready square rolls with a sprinkling of topping. The bok choy was nice and tasty. The pizza had very little flavor, either in the crust or the sauce. Also, I was surprised that a pizza restaurant had no veggie pizza option on the menu. Underwhelming and we'll try another place next time.

Very disappointed with both pizzas we ordered. The quality of area four seems to have slipped. The cheese slid right off the pizza indicative of a poor quality cheese and barely any of the pizza was covered. The crust was gooey and the pizza folded right up. On a positive side the buffalo mozzarella and kale/shaved Brussels sprout pizza was great as were the garlic bits and marinara sauce. But since this is a place known for for its pizza, I would pass. There are far better pizzas to be had in Boston.

I love the pizza here! My reservation process was seamless; I reserved via OpenTable and my table was ready as soon as I arrived. The drink options on the menu did not appeal to me, as I don't drink alcohol and the only non-alcoholic drinks listed were mocktails under "Zero-Proof," all of which were more than $6. My server was very accommodating and allowed me to order iced tea with simple syrup for $3, an item not on the menu. I wish that the menu listed soft drinks or tea, though. The pizza and garlic knots are very good, but they are a bit pricy - I don't know if they were overpriced because I'm not sure what the local cost of ingredients or labor is, I just know that I personally would rather not pay so much.

This place is wonderful. The strawberry latte made my day and I ate the best danish I've ever had. Friendly staff. Definitely worth walking in the rain to relax in this place.Dietary restrictions: Oat and almond milk offered

Love coming here, I am biased towards their pizza and think it's the best in the city! White anchovy pizza is my personal favorite. That being said, last night was packed. Only downside is that we could hear the other table's conversation.

This is one of my all time fave places. The food and drink selection is always great and consistent. I REALLY miss the South End location as that was my regular Saturday haunt. Please come back!!!

Great place for an impromptu bite! Great service and the food was really good! Nice autumn squash soup and the carnivore pizza. Both equally tasty and well done but the pizza was sooo good. Loved the coal style pizza and the meats were the right touch

Much love for Area Four, their delicious pizzas, and their outstanding service! I love their selection of pizzas, which are the perfect combination of chewy and soft with crunchy crusts, especially when paired with their hot honey. Particular favorites include the margherita and mushroom pizzas. I want especially draw attention to a recent occasion when Area Four went above and beyond. My group at work had originally scheduled a another pizzeria a few weeks in advance for a going-away lunch and the other place cancelled *the morning of*. I was in a panic, to say the least, but Area Four saved the day when we decided to place an order for 6 pies, garlic knots, and wings that morning for lunch later that day. The apps/pizzas arrived promptly during the delivery window and my entire team at work thoroughly enjoyed themselves, particularly those who had not had A4 before :) Safe to say we are all loyal customers now!

This is my go to pizza spot in the Boston area! The Prosciutto Americano is my favorite; the hot honey pairs nicely with the salty prosciutto and both are complemented by a bed of arugula. The mac & cheese was also pretty good. Food comes out fast and they also offer patio seating and water if you're dining with a pet!
