The pastries I had (a cookie and a biscuit) were both delicious. The cookie had an interesting spectrum of textures (well done on the outside, soft with some stickiness in the middle). The biscuit used enough gochujang to add some savoriness but wasn’t intensely gochujang flavored. The laminated pastries look enticing and I would try one next time.I will say, I was a bit put off by the checkout system defaulting to a suggestion of a $1.50 tip for handing me a $4 cookie in a bag.

So far 75% of my visits have been below sub mediocre at best. The food is always okay, however today my sandwich was visibly burnt black and to a crisp along the entire bottom and halfway up the sides. Pretty disappointed as I would enjoy the food a majority of the time but don’t think I’ll be paying for hit or miss food/service. On top of absolutely ruining the sandwich to the point I need a gallon of water, they also forgot my lemonade which reduced the chance of being able to eat more than two bites without anything to help wash it down.

What a gem!!! I recently hurt my foot, and I'm sporting a cast, which means that I can hardly do any walking. SO, I've been searching for the best spots to do some reading, and THIS ?? PLACE ?? IS ?? IT ??I loved their cozy area with couches by the fireplace, plus their seasonal pistachio creme coffee is an absolute treat. Their pastries are super flavorful, so they're great to share. I really enjoyed my time at Cafe Beatrice. It's a new favorite spot.

We live nearby so we come here often. But I still don’t get why the staffs are always rude and unfriendly. We thought it was just a particular person or a particular day, but now that we visited here several times it was the general vibe. We say thank you, have a great day but no one says anything back. Being friendly is not mandatory because their foods and drinks are definitely good, so we still come back for those. But meeting unfriendly staffs definitely not a way to enjoy the day.

Very helpful staff, there are many different kinds of seating options and there are quite some food options. I liked my sandwich with eggs and salmon, though the pieces were too large to eat properly, but the taste was good!

It’s just fine. You can tell it’s all premade and sits until someone orders it. VERY overpriced for value, the food is mediocre at best. The one thing I will say is THE BISCUIT it’s the only reason I go back (when it’s good they change it seasonally)Parking: Parking is a joke there’s a parking deck you can pay for or drive around in circles until you find a spot that’s 2 hour

Best cinnamon rolls in the Boston area. Chocolate chip and Earl grey cookies are excellent as is the Cubano. They have a liquor license to boot and the Beatrice at night is a great concept. If there is any one thing we miss the most after moving out of East Cambridge, it's Cafe Beatrice.

I gave two stars rather than one because the food used to be good and I ordered at least 50 times from them. However, today the chicken in the salad smells really bad and disgusting. It tastes spoiled. The food quality dropped significantly these days (around 1-2 weeks)A few days I got a diarrhea after had cobb salad. A they used to have great food quality, i thought it might not be their problem and I kept ordering food from them. However, I got spoiled chicken in the salad today and this made me very disappointed. Would never order from them again.
Good coffee, not so good the service. Be more communicative, polite, and welcoming.

Cute, clean, good variety of food options (coming from someone with a dairy allergy). Lattes were wonderful. Love the atmosphere with variety of sitting options and areas.Dietary restrictions: No dairy-free pastries, but allergens were well-labeled
This was a nice find off the beaten path. It’s right next to a small park and was airy and had a happy vibe. The staff was super friendly and the portions were huge. You won’t leave here hungry. The seating was cozy and is set up for interactive eating. You order at the counter and they call your name when it’s ready. We enjoyed our meal and would eat here again.
