had a wonderful experience at Commonwealth. The food was next-level comfort food. The drinks we had were fantastic. Really enjoyed the vibe and the staff was attentive but not over the top. We were their for a much-needed date night away from the kids and it was the perfect spot.

I love coming here. The food is just *chef's kiss*. Everyone is really kind and welcoming. The environment is perfect for anything ranging from a quick lunch to birthday to date night. Highly recommend the ribs, mac and cheese, burger, and cookie dessert. The fries are also really great, be sure to try the aioli the fries come with, it's one of my personal favorites.

Nice location, nice ambiance and convenient to my office in Kendall Square; what I am not so happy with is that there are no 'reasonably healthy options' on the menu...everything is greasy, fried, overloaded plates etc....I wish they a more sensible menu....

The pulled pork lunch special was average. The food was fairly greasy, the potatoes were chunky and nothing special. The pulled pork itself was not bad, the fried peppers were disappointingly tasteless. Odd note- the Diet Coke tasted like Diet Pepsi. The service however was outstanding. Fast and efficient.

The servers are great, the bartenders are amazing (especially Swirvy, Will and Zach). You can order and amazing dish while having a great array of beers at your hand. It’s an amazing atmosphere with good people!

I came here with colleagues this week for dinner. We started off with the buffalo chicken dip and duck fat fries. I found the chicks dip to be pretty good, and the fries were middle of the road--they were more like large wedges. The star of the show was the Rohan Duck Breast. I have to say it was some of the best duck I've had in a while, with a nice cranberry red wine & onion sauce. It was a substantial portion, especially for duck, so I would go back just for that. Service was a bit spotty throughout the evening as the place filled up. But overall, this was a good stop for a casual dinner. 3.5.

Excellent cuisine; everything just tastes great. The designated dieter in the group might buy fish at a steakhouse, but not at the Commonwealth! Some restaurants offer unappealing items on their menu because customers order them. Every item on the menu is a hit, similar to a Best Of album. Disclaimer: Don't take my word for it; go have some food and see for yourself that the cool owner and his family are great.
Some great dishes (Brussel sprouts) some A- (calamari, almost crisp enough) and some mediocre (scallops-poor dips, food not integrated.) Great, relaxed ambience; although full, not too noisy. Friendly, helpful staff.

I really enjoyed my time here. I went with a group of about 12 and everything went well. It was one of our more fun outings. Everything was great and tasted great. I got the iron steak and it was good and high quality.

Ordered a mocktail and it was served in a kids cup. Pretty infantilizing for an adult to receive during a business meeting. Some of us adults aren't able to drink alcohol because of medical conditions. I cannot imagine how it would feel for someone in recovery to receive this kind of treatment either. I also don't find any of their menu to be allergen friendly. It's already limited during lunch and to tell us that only 2 of the sandwiches on the menu are available is even worse.

Visited this bar for an event. Overall, the food was good (especially, chicken bacon ranch flatbread pizza and Buffalo chicken wings), the service was also good (we had a few staff members tending our group), the atmosphere was relaxing
