Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. We enjoyed all of our dishes and left satiated and happy with the experience. The renovations (since Loyal 9) are thoughtfully decorated. Not a lot of vegetarian options so would recommend ensuring vegetarians review the menu beforehand.

I thought the food was good! Especially the pizza. Pasta looked small and expensive so I skipped it. Nice mocktail option for us who don’t drink. Nice ambiance, I want to go back in the warm months and eat outside.Ordered:BrusselsAranciniPepperoni pizzaMushroom pizzaTiramisu

I have made special trips from NYC to dine at Gufo, four times in the past six months to be specific. This place is unparalleled when it comes to fantastic Italian food and top tier service.I am obsessed with their mushroom, roasted garlic pizza, which comes out so crispy and airy and has a great balance of earthy flavors from the beech brown mushrooms and aromatic notes from the whole cloves of garlic and spring onions. Their squid ink bucatini was also a hit, so incredibly flavorful with generous portions of seafood, the sauce is made with pork butter, but can be made without pork. Their vegetarian pasta — spinach + ricotta rotolo, was delicious resembling a cast iron lasagna, but deceptively filling. Also want to mention, they use San Marzano tomatoes imported from Italy. Also highly recommend the shrimp, brussels, and charred mushroom plate, all are so flavorful and great/unique tapas shares that complement each other.Definitely recommend the apple or pear crostata and frozen yogurt for dessert. The servers ensure that you have a wonderful experience, they keep glasses filled and also had a lot of respect for the manager who runs food to tables and interacts with guests alongside his staff. This place gets packed on Friday and weekend nights for dinner service between 6 and 8:30, be sure to make a reservation ahead! Will definitely be back to try their brunch menu next.Vegetarian options: For dinner, there are about a dozen options for all sections combined, enough to fill you up. Two pizza options, two pastas, many of the plates and nearly all the snacks.Dietary restrictions: Great for vegetarians and pescatarians

The cocktails are fantastic, some of the best I've had. Try the Shaken No. One. The food is OK, the best thing we had were the grilled mushrooms, though they weren't grilled through properly, had a chewy center. Recommend this place for drinks.

Came here a few weeks ago for dinner. The vibe was intimate, modern, casual and the service was good. We enjoyed the eggplant caponata, mushroom pizza, and rigatoni bolognese dishes. We had the pizza served with a hot spicy oil which was delicious and the rigatoni was unique in that it wasn't too tomato forward. Would likely come back!

Staff were attentive, kind, and overall excellent. Ambience was good but lacked in fine touch. Cocktails were good. Wine list was thin. Food was mediocre. Price seemed ok.

From the moment we walked in the door to the time we left, we had a fantastic experience. We went for Sunday brunch, and the breakfast pizza, broccoli caesar and breakfast sandwich were fantastic. There is some kind of sorcery going on with their roasted fingerling potatoes, but perfection is not for me to question! A note on the service: I think this is the nicest staff I have encountered in a very long time and they definitely add to the great vibe. The decor is light, airy and comfortable. Can't wait to try dinner!

The food was good but the experience was far from memorable (I honestly almost forgot about this experience and had to do some hard thinking to write this review lol) The eggplant and achovies snacks were good. The squid ink pasta was a highlight for me. The bolognese was not my favorite (it was a really thick sauce) the crusted chicken was good. Prawns were good. I liked the sauce. The hamachi was also good. I love love deserts but the olive oil cake was quite disappointing for me. I didn't like the drinks. I only ordered a margarita. Service was bland and honestly felt like fast casual restaurant. It was really loud and quite dark in there too. Will likely not return to this restaurant. It's not bad, but other places in Boston have similar menus that offer a better experience and tastier food.

Great waiter, great Manager.....thanks Ted for always making us feel so kindly welcomed back. Broccoli Caesar, meatballs and grilled mushrooms are delicious starters. Spaghetti w clams nice chewy pasta and good spicy kick. Loved oxtail pasta dish. Thanks for tiramisu ....not as moist as many I've made or had but delicious and easy to share. Space is bright and cherry but not much character. SRV prettier and more intimate feeling.

Fantastic pasta and mocktails! If you like garibaldi cocktail and want a nonalcoholic version, their non-baldi comes pretty close!Looking forward to coming back to try more on their to-share and dessert list. The pasta we tried was cooked perfectly al dente with a flavorful meat ragu. The pizza had very thin center in a pleasant way, it carried all the toppings and let them shine through, yet great crust that you can taste the wheat aroma (almost similar to a fresh baguette somehow). Their complementary bread was also high quality. Will definitely visit again!

The place was packed for a Wednesday evening which slowed down our service, but the food was worth the wait. We ordered a couple of the “snacks” with the house focaccia bread that started us off well. The broccoli salad was delicious and the pizza was a perfect size for 2 people. Generally, the only minor complaint was that it took a while in between items coming to the table.. as we were in the restaurant for over 90 minutes for a Wednesday dinner. Still, the prices were reasonable and the service was friendly. Would definitely recommend!!!Vegetarian options: Enough options for vegetarians looking for something other than the standard offerings!!

Even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait 20 minutes for our table. Then, once we sat down, we had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to come over to our table. By that time, we felt we needed to order everything at once because we were concerned that we wouldn't have another chance to order. Unfortunately, this colored my view of the food, which was underwhelming. I really do want this restaurant to succeed, and I hope that they can invest in more staff so that they can handle the demand!
