The fried chicken sandwich is really good. The. Sides are pretty bland. Fries are ok but not great. Get the hot. It's not that hot.Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs

I was very excited to order my nashville chicken sandwich and had heard great things about Hot Chix Boston! However when I got home and took a bite it seemed a bit undercooked. I wish that was the case. I started cutting off parts of the chicken and saw it was RAW. I cut the chicken in half I discovered it was COMPLETELY RAW and that I had paid 13+tax+tip to eat raw chicken. Perhaps their fryer is broken or the cook just didn’t want to cook the chicken(there were no other costumers). But if I were you I wouldn’t risk it.

I had my eye on this place for a while and was craving chicken tenders. I was met with the perfect opportunity to try this omw home. Going in was kinda weird because the door is somewhat unhinged and I thought I broke it. But that’s besides the point. The guy there seemed to be having a rough day and all these were signs to maybe pass on trying this place but I did anyways. I looked at the prices and saw that for FIVE chicken tenders with fries it’s $17. Competitive pricing by bostons standards, horrible pricing to what I’m used to in the southeast but I figure maybe they make up for it in quality. I got the lemon pepper chicken tenders and again I should I’m from the southeast so I’ve had my share of lemon pepper. The food comes and I was delighted to see large chicken tenders, garlic bread (Texas toast whatever people in north call it), and a large amount of fries. My optimism returned seeing all this so I immediately went in for the chicken tenders and my first bite was met with rubbery chicken that wasn’t all that hot. I checked to see if it was pink which is a red flag in and of itself for a place that boasts chicken in the name. It seemed that it was cooked so I kept eating. The more I ate, the sadder I became. The lemon pepper tasted like the poured melted popcorn butter added some lemon juice and maybe a bit of pepper. It was off and I was shocked. So now the chicken it self felt cooked wrong AND they missed the mark on lemon pepper. 3 chicken tenders in an I was done. I figure I’d try the bread. The bread was sopping wet with the butter they use. Not enjoyable. I am known to not leave a crumb on my plates and yet I threw away 2 chicken tenders and fries that I over paid for. All in all, the fries were good, but microwaved Tyson strips have been better to me.

One of our favorite hot chicken sandwich restaurants. Quality is impeccably consistent every time we stop by: juicy yet extremely crispy chicken, well seasoned breading, and creamy yet tangy toppings. The blend of texture and taste in every bite is undeniably delicious. We recommend Hot Chix to every friend and colleague in the area, ever since Hot Chix’s soft opening. Cheers to enjoying the best chicken sandwich in Cambridge!

The absolute worst mac and cheese I've ever had. The chicken sandwich was alright but the mac and cheese was so bad that it ruined the entire meal. Out of every side dish in my life, this was the only one I just couldn't eat. It was like eating water and yellow food coloring. I couldn't taste the cheese and the texture was awful because it so much liquid. It was like eating soup but there were no flavors. The noodles were not al dente and to top it all off it was $5 for a small cup (not like I wanted any more). Since this is a Nashville hot chicken restaurant, I will talk about the chicken sandwich. It wasn't bad but not good enough to compensate for such a terrible mac and cheese. The flavors were there but the texture was off and it wasn't super fresh.

Place is great, probably the best fried chicken sandwich in Massachusetts. Waffle fries are awesome too.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food here. Food came out piping hot and also enjoyed the relaxed and basic inside. A small menu which let's them do things right.Nashville Sandwich was delicious and one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. I got the "hot" spice which was a perfect heat for me.I typically like saucey wings but the dry Nashville rub was great. You might think it's a little expensive but it was definitely worth it. I'll be back to try the extra hot and waffle fries.

This chicken sandwich will be living in my head rent free. I’m sure better chicken sandwiches exist but this was just an objectively good sandwich that was very satisfying. Breading was light and crunchy, meat was juicy, coleslaw was simple and complemented the rest of the sandwich well. If I lived in Boston I’d probably come here

One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had, if not the best.Had the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich with "Hot" level heat - decently challenging heat! Very well-balanced sandwich: generous slab of tender chicken with a solidly crispy coating; hearty pickle slices; a touch of refreshing slaw, delicious sauce. What really set it apart was the seasoning: some dry mix that is sprinkled on the chicken. I'm obsessed. Also had the Old Bay waffle fries and cole slaw - both excellent. Will be a frequent customer.

A cute Nashville chicken shop that's perfect for a quick meal!! The burger and Mac was indulgent and yummy, maybe a little salty for my taste but it's a casual spot y'know. also got a beer. Nicely decorated interior, a lot of neon lights. Cashier was friendly and you can hear the cooks talking in the back, service was good.

This chicken slapz!!! The old bay waffle fries, and coleslaw were absolutely incredible. Juicy, crispy, well seasoned chicken. Mild still has a bit of spice which I liked. I wanted to order one of everything!! Small quiet spot, but definitely worth the hype.I think when a spot has such a positive reputation, people will be more critical. Only reason I can think of for any less than 5 star reviews! So glad I finally stopped by.
