The waiter was extremely totalitarian. He arranged an aisle seat for me when there were many empty seats in other parts of the room! I waited for over one hour for the food delivery, and the Pad Tai noodles became glued together.

I ordered $29 worth of lunch through UberEats & requested delivery. 25 minutes after the scheduled delivery time, I gave up on receiving the delivery & walked to the restaurant only to find my order sitting on the counter awaiting "pick up". The guy at the Spicies front desk angrily blamed me, saying that I mistakenly requested pick-up, yet 5 minutes later, the UberEats driver updated the UberEats site to inform that he was delayed in picking up and would be along shortly. So both UberEats and I understood this to be a order for delivery despite the restaurant's mix-up. The scallion pancake (6.95) was a cold, soggy, inedible mess and had to be discarded. What a waste! Poor management & terrible customer service ruined the lunch!

food is good. usually a 3 star place, but in Harvard square there aren't many good options. Try the grilled whole fish, or the duck, or the spicy noodles.

The kapow kai over rice is decent. It has nice heat and nice flavor. The mince is more like pellets as opposed to ground meat. It wasn't the best execution but but I would definitely get it again. It was a little shiney as if there was corn starch involved which doesn't seem typical. The chicken dumplings were very good! The location is right in the middle of Harvard Sq and interior has a nice casual vibe. Service was good. The name is a little funky...its definitely "Spicies" (which i misread as species lol) but it will hit your credit card as "spice thai". Not a huge deal.

Fried Thai Veggie Dumpling are nice and crispy with lots of filling, and the Veggie Curry Puffs are the best thing to try, amazing fried goodness almost like a cornish pasty, it's the one thing above all else you need to try. 6/13/2021 - 2nd order - the Cashew Nuts vegetablee stir fry rice entree is also very, very good.

Amazing place!!!!Didn’t had my wallet with me and they let me gruphoob and then bring me the food to the table, it took them less than 7 mins to bring the food. Regiment the spicy food, careful because it is spicy for real.The service was great, can’t wait for when I’m around again.

This restaurant is the one I like best. I eat in many restaurants but to this place I go the most. The team is very professional and the food they offer is so good. I never miss an opportunity to have a nice meal in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

Thai food and the setting here is quality. Definitely worth a return visit. The place has a cool atmosphere. I can see why they have a lot of great reviews.

While I was at lunch break today, I went to pick up the food then headed back to work. After I opened the paper bag the food was in, I noticed there were red spots on the bag and the napkins. I immediately suspected the red spots were fresh blood. I went back to Spices and asked the employee on the cash register what were the red spots on the bag? He wasn't able to give me a quick answer. As I looked over his hands, I saw he had a bloody thumb without a bandage.I told him he can't serve customers with his bloody thumb. He said he was sorry then he managed to get some sticky paper to wrap over the bloody thumb.I returned the food to the employee with the bloody thumb then he refunded me the money. This place will never see my face again.Very disappointed.

My go-to for takeout after the dining halls have closed. Their chicken pad thai is a comfort classic, although chicken is a bit bland. I LOVE the scallion pancakes--wonderfully crunchy, but I'd advise you to dab the oil off first. Great thai tea. Best of all, 10% off for students!
