Very greasy and too expensive for the quality of food. I ordered the chicken melt, supposedly a healthier option but it tasted really dull and it was not great.

This place was just OK. I didn't have any issues with my sandwich but it was nothing to write home about. I could've made it myself at home very easily. I did not love the tomato soup either.

Meh. Wasn't a huge fan. I got a half sandwich and soup. Tried the gobbler (Turkey avo melted cheese and some other dressings) and the chicken soup. Gobbler bread was pressed and super oily so I ended up not eating the bread. Thought the chicken soup was also sort of oily. Overall left feeling still hungry because didnt really enjoy/finish the food. Maybe just not my style but seems appropriate for quick lunch grab if you're okay w grease...? It was nice that they had indoor and outdoor seating though. Lunch rush is kind of busy but we got there early around 11:20 and just watched it evolve starting around 11:45. Also wish I could order half salad half sandwich. Kinda expensive overall for the quality.

Can't believe anyone who is writing less than 5-star review for Squeaky Beaker Cafe. I ordered BYO sandwich through ritual and it was both super delicious and huge in size! Will go again.

Give this one a pass Now I remember why I shouldn't have come here. Some time ago, I ordered their meatball sub for lunch. It had...two - count'em...two meatballs in it. I went back and complained, and they apologized, but it put me off. I stopped going there - who needs to wait in a crowd only to be cheated? Today I was in a hurry. As Kendall Square is all in construction, and some choices gone (no more Bailey and Sage, no more Au Bon Pain, the food trucks relocated, etc), I thought I'd give SBC one more try. Why pay Tatte prices? Why walk all the way to Bon Me? Now I know why: a) only after I got to my office and opened it up did I discover that they gave me the wrong order! I mean, even by eliminating names, and calling out numbers, the staff just can't keep it straight. b) the sandwich has shrunk, so the value is that much less. Give this one a pass. Too bad, there's droves of hungry folks in Kendall Sq, but this place can't really compete. Even B. Good (with it's microburgers) is a better value, and that says a lot.

This food is disgusting. Don't waste your time here. I ordered a panini sandwich that was soaked with their aioli, barely edible. I ordered a cup of coffee and it tasted like water, I just left it there. Avoid this place at all costs and go to Commonwealth or Tatte for breakfast instead.

Great spot just around MIT. Delicious for a morning breakfast sandwich. I got the Beaker Sausage Special, freshly made, homemade sausage with eggs on a everything bagel...the tobacco aioli is a delicious touch!
