This place could very well have the ‘worst brunch in Boston’. I ordered the Pulled Pork and Poblano Hash, and it was drowning in cooking oil, had zero flavor, and zero salt. I should have sent it back to the kitchen, but unfortunately there was only one waitress working and getting her attention was hard at best. Surprisingly so, given how mid- to poor (at best) the food actually is. This place is nothing more than a thinly veiled attempt at being fancy by charging more than they should, having a boring uninspired trying-to-be contemporary atmosphere (which you shouldn’t look too closely at or you’ll noticed the un-wiped and scuffed up tables), and mediocre food options. I will tell folks to not go here.

Hi There

Great place for a drink with a view but the food is questionable and a bit much for what you get. Ordered a shrimp cocktail and got 4 small (previously frozen) shrimp with a out of the bottle sauce.

When The Lexington first opened its doors a few years back, it was one of the top dining spots in Cambridge. My experiences with Cambridge Street Hospitality Group's restaurants have typically been positive, and The Lexington was no exception. With its seasonal outdoor rooftop deck and contemporary American menu curated by Gilson, I was occasionally drawn in for a round of light drinks and a casual dinner.I recently got to try their brunch on a Saturday afternoon. The menu was a quintessential example of contemporary American brunch fare, and overall, the dishes we chose were good. Highlights for me included the Smoked Salmon and the Sourdough French Toast. The salmon was served atop a crispy mini potato waffle, with the addition of sour cream and red onions complementing the smoked fish perfectly. As for the French toast, while it teetered on the edge of being soggy, its softness surprisingly paired well with the richness of vanilla bean cream and the fresh berries. The Yogurt Parfait, chosen for a healthier touch, unfortunately skewed too sour for my taste, even with the berry toppings. In the Steak and Eggs dish, the crispy home fries were one of the best I’ve had in the city, though the steak itself was merely average. With so many new contemporary restaurants in the city, The Lexington may not be the standout it once was. However, it still holds its own as an elegant dining spot, particularly for dinner. With reservations now more accessible, I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an upscale yet relaxed dining experience.

Nice ambiance with a great view of downtown. The fried chicken sandwich and fries were pretty underwhelming for the price point(23 dollars before tax and tip.) The sandwich was really chewy and lacked flavor, I'm not even certain it tasted like a good piece of chicken. Our waitress seemed like she was in witness protection despite screwing up the order in a nearly empty restaurant. Gigantic MEH I can imagine this would be a fun place to grab some drinks with coworkers during the summer given the view.

Nice rooftop views, good for a group dinner. Limited menu with pretty standard American food. Had the onion dip, jalapeño-bacon croquettes, & fish tacos. The tacos were meh but I'm rarely impressed by tacos. Liked the dip itself but didn't like how we given normal waffle fries with the dip rather than the potato waffles I had seen in pics. The croquettes were my favorite--very cheesy with a kick of spice. Friendly and fast service.

We decided to treat ourselves to an early dinner at around 4 pm, arriving a good 30 minutes before the restaurant officially opened. To pass the time, we found ourselves a cozy spot in their delightful Beatrice cafe. The cafe itself had a charming and intimate atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a pre-dinner treat.Once The Lexington restaurant opened its doors, we eagerly made our way to the main dining area.We had an amazing dinner at The Lexington. spacious seating, and delicious food. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was top-notch as well. Can't wait to go back!

the neighborhood menu was incredible! Some of the best food my husband and I have ever eaten! The staff was great, especially Tom at the bar who took the time to make personal recommendations and definitely got it spot on!

It was a pleasant experience overall. Like the details both in the atmosphere and dishes. Tried out their Neighborhood Menu and it didn’t disappoint.

Affordable foodie food here. Cocktails not to be missed. Space is luxuriously open and light-filled. Service very good. Brunch was memorable. Highly recommended for dates and small groups.

If you're looking for a place that serves tiny Cosmos (5oz) for $18 and tacks on a 5% "kitchen appreciation fee" without approval, then this is the place for you. Food was good, but the poor service, small portions and unexpected fee outweighed it. Save your money and go somewhere else.

It was okay. The food was not that impressive (though the Maracuyá drink was good!). The steak and the burger had both a strong carbon taste, which was not good. The steak lacked salt.
