Cute spot & I liked the no phone zone. We had wine, desserts, and played bananagrams! We didn't have a reservation and there was enough space to hang out for a while. The wine was good but a bit pricey per glass. I had the chocolate mousse ($17) and not worth it IMO. It was just mousse with whipped cream on top. There was only one waitress and service was extremely slow. Walk ins that came in after us were served first so that was a bit off putting. There was also a strange smell. I actually would want to come back but it was the smell that was the nail in the coffin.

I DO NOT recommend this place. Zuzus petals is extremely small and extremely overpriced. This is coming from someone who loves wine bars. I went there once, had a group reservation but when we arrived they has given away our table ~10 minutes before our arrival, causing us to wait an hour for our table. The place is super small, and it was in the middle of a rainstorm, so we had to wait outside in the rain. After that we got a cheeseboard and some wine to share and holy moly was it overpriced. The cheeseboards alone were super expensive for very little cheese, and they did not even bring us silverware, just a small baguette and cheese but know knives, forks, anything. Total scam.

The owner was very understanding at my confusion about cancellation fees and in the end I was able to come in and enjoy a lovely evening of wine and earl grey mousse (all delicious). I’ve been many times before for fondue and other dessert and have always enjoyed. Thank you Alexandra!

Zuzu’s Petals is the hidden gem of Inman. The coziest atmosphere, lovely homemade desserts (get the crème brûlée!), & a wonderfully curated wine selection. Come for the wine & food, stay for the vibes :)

Zuzu's is a fun and cozy place! great atmosphere for a date or to catch up with friends. we went as a group of four treating a friend from out of town who loves wine and sweets. our 10 pm friday night reservation was delayed a bit due to a lingering table having lots of fun (def not any fault of the staff!!), but upon being seated we started with the cheese board and a recommended bottle of wine from a kind server. as we were eating we tried to make eye contact or attention to order some desserts but somehow kept missing out (maybe it was just bad timing and to be fair it was near closing time, so we def felt a little like the staff was ready to go home -- especially apparent given they were blasting their records). All in all it was fun, the cheese and wine were tasty, but i wish i could review a dessert. The service was disappointing and it is definitely over priced. Given that, I would not stop you from trying this place, either going a bit earlier than we did or ordering all at once! it's a fun stop if you're nearby but don't be like us and miss the chance to order dessert!

I cancelled a reservation hours in advance and was still charged a no-show fee of $60. I understand charging a reasonable fee when customers cancel last minute - and even then emergencies do happen - but not seven hours in advance.Enjoy the $60 because that's all I'm spending here.

Be careful when booking with this place, we cancelled booking within 2 hours of booking for a time 3 days away and they charged our credit card $40.I can see being charged if you cancel on the same day or maybe even the day before, but this is not reasonable and not good customer service.

Went with a friend. This would be a very cute place for a date. Feels cozy: pillows, a disco ball, Polaroids on the walls, flowers, card games. Crème brûlée and apple crumble felt very thoughtfully prepared.

We went for the desserts and they were impeccable, chef’s kiss! The tiramisu had a deep coffee taste that made our eyes light up and the apple crumble was a perfect fruity complement to go back and forth with. Finally the atmosphere was very cozy and intimate making it great for date night. But one thing you can’t control unfortunately is the noise from other patrons. The small cozy shop quickly turns into an echo chamber with one noisier table. Regardless, the shop delivers on its promise of good desserts and an intimate screen-free evening.

Had a wonderful experience at brunch at zuzu's petals. Got lost in the atmosphere with an entire run through of Abbey Road, the food - delicious pancakes, and the Parisian mini drinking chocolate. All of a sudden 3.5 hours had passed. Wonderful.

The service was very poor and the food was not great. We had to specifically ask for plates after the food arrived at our table (and a restaurant, I have never seen that to be honest). The bread was literally just a baguette that was not even cut. Honestly, I would recommend staying away from this for any people who want to organize events there.

We really wanted to like this place but they have to improve their service. When we ordered the second round of wine (different wines from our first ones), the server filled the wine on the same glass. You would expect more from a wine bar that charges 20+ per glass.
