I had 6 bones, mac & cheese, green and baked beans on Friday. This was my first time it definitely won't be my last. I know now where to get great Barbecue whenever I'm in the mood for it,which is usually weekly. Lol. Thanks for the pep talk Morell!

Went for 1st time today. We both ordered 2 meat dinner plate. Both had pulled pork and then one with beef brisket, the other with ribs. Sides were brisket chili, mac & cheese, and both had cornbread. 1st, I specifically made sure brisket was going to be sliced, found out when opening food back home, it was shredded or pulled. The flavor of the brisket and pork was horrible. I thought it tasted like melted plastic. Brings me to - why would someone put hot (temperature) chili in a plastic container?? This was so soft and pliable that it ended up everywhere when going to open it. I don't think I would call it chili either. It was like tomato sauce, or maybe salsa, with strings of brisket and way overly seasoned with hot sauce. The only taste to it was the hot sauce. Mac & cheese was dry as was the cornbread which crumbled to pieces upon touching it. Ribs were on the dry side. I will stick to our regular bbq place over in Norwood. Morrell's wasn't just the worst bbq food I have ever had - it was the worst meal I have ever had from a restaurant, food truck, caterer, etc., or anywhere. Each dinner was $30 and an additional $2 for the brisket, nowhere near worth the money as the food was so bad it all got thrown out.

Honest Review:Mac n Cheese 1/5Collard Greens 1/5St.Louis Ribs 3/5Cornbread 0/5Potato Salad1/5Brisket 2/5Overall it wasn’t what I was looking for or expected. The meat taste overly grilled and charred and lacked flavor. The mac n cheese was bland and also lacked flavor. The cornbread crumbled and fell apart the moment I opened the aluminum foil. For the amount of money spent I was highly disappointed.I could go in detail more about all the other things I didn’t enjoy but it would be to much.

Tried this place yesterday and I was not overly impressed. The okay: Ribs were okay, but they had a nice bbq sauce. Brisket was chopped and smothered in sauce, but was okay. The not so good: Sides were terrible. The Mac n cheese was horrible. The cheese was so greasy and the cheese separated. The brisket chili would have been great, but they dumped way too much salt making the chili inedible. If it was salted correctly, this would have been a standout chili. Get this: 32 dollars for a combo plate of 4 ribs, chopped brisket and two sides. Highest priced bbq ever

So our group at work have been dying to try @morrell's bbq for almost a year now which is right on 138 right near work which is 2 minutes away.I feel bad even doing this and I wish I took photos of everything we ordered. We ordered this.- collared Greens- pulled pork Sandwiches - baked beans- ribs- rib sandwich - corn bread- potato salad On to the review.Great customer service and gave some extras to try which was awesome! - rib sandwich I wish I took a pic of this but there was cut ribs with the bone in still inside the bun. Why would you order a rib sandwich with the bones still in it. Confusing - Mac&cheeseDry, dry, dry, the Mac & cheese was guess what? Dry! Good smoke flavor but it was not creamy and the cheese was dry and lumpy. Thank god the beans were soupy so I could dunk the mac&cheese in it.-BBQ BeansThe beans very soupy. I didn't really understand why BBQ beans would be soupy. They were tender and had a little bit of BBQ taste but I couldn't get over how soupy they were.-Pulled Pork SandwichThe sando was ok, but really salty and the pork was kind of dry but the bbq sauce helped out with that but made the buns kind of soggy-Corn BreadWas just ok but very small-RibsIt was smoky but not enough sauce on it. It was mostly dry inside but good quantity.-Potato SaladWas just ok

I got the 1/2 pound of pulled pork and a small Mac and cheese and also some cornbread.. I must say the best part of my meal was probably the cornbread and the bbq sauce I got but the pulled pork flavor was completely off and tasted a little burnt up and the mac and cheese was not even edible really and was oily.. not saying this place is bad or what not but it was no where near what I expected for good bbq I would rather try else where in the future..

It's unfortunate to see someone get food poisoning an give a bad review because there stomach can't handle great food.I was heading to my appointment up the road, and said to myself I'm hitting that on the way home.I have zero regrets. Got the pulled pork sandwich, great amount of meat, an the aroma from the smoking process in every bite is perfect.Mac n Cheese, is perfectFelt like I was back living down south

I enjoyed Morrell's catered bbq recently at a party and it was delicious. Pulled pork, collard greens, potato salad, and mac and cheese were all excellent. Can't wait to try more items on the menu.

Really great food, I got a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, collard greens and the mac & cheese. The owners are from down south and do barbecue well. They also offer catering. They are located right on Turnpike Street in Canton. I highly suggest checking it out. If you are ever in the area, you will not be disappointed.
