“Stopped in for a late lunch on a Thursday and the place was really busy! Service was super quick despite being busy. I had the BBQ turkey tip entree and my partner had the meatloaf special. Both were excellent! The place is cozy inside with a bustling bar and several high top tables. Definitely recommend!“
“The tuna fish sub is absolutely amazing. I got mine with pickles and onions. I have also enjoyed the chicken salad as well. Large dine in area that is good for group meetings with plenty of parking. The subs are priced below market value. The thin crust pizza is also amazing. The owner is always there to assist in any questions. Give alpha pizza a shot!“
“Very friendly service. Pizza was more flavorful than the competing slices restaurant. It was a little greasy. Thats typically what i want though and thats how pizzas come out at virtually every pizza shop in ma. Slices seems to have intentionally made their pizza as light on the grease as possible and it sacrificed a little flavor. Its nice to have the option between both restaurants since they both have totally different styles of pizza, so you can choose on what youre in the mood for that day. I give both restaurants 5 stars. I mention slices because they are obviously in competition being so close to each other. The deli meat was a little higher quality here at grand slam but the presentation of the sub was a little nicer at slices. Overall, i say if you are working at the sites off dan road, you should rotate between these two restaurants and give them both your business.“
“It is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The sauce is spicy, and the food is delicious. When I asked for the name of their delicious sauce, they gave me some on the house! Really nice people and AMAZING food definitely suggest going there.“
“Dinner and drinks with a friend, great service and food. We had a fish sandwich that was plentiful and delicious and the Parmesan fries were outstanding. My friend had the “plain Jane” pizza which was great too! Definitely a “go to” in the neighborhood. Drinks were excellent, a white sangria and a razz lemonade!“
“Excellent all around. The salad was a bit more ordinary, but the kale salad was really nice with a mix of flavors and hearty greens. The jerk chicken was moist and tender, and nicely seasoned. The chipotle chicken might even be better! Small flavorful tender bits all around. The mac and cheese was a bit lacking - with there was more cheese flavor to go around. The beans and rice was delicious. The nicest might have been the plantains; they were really not too sugary, but had a nice sheen on the outside and cooked beautifully. So good!“

“I am such a picky eater. I have gone to the same place for years and ordered the same exact thing every timeI always refused to try other places, but I decided to be adventurous and try this place. They have the best lemon pepper chicken. Bacon cheeseburgers, steak combo subs. They deserve awards for their food ! Freshly made to your needs and wants. And they are very fast on delivery. I have never waited more then 30 minutes for the whole process of ordering online , and delivered to my door. Today I got my delivery and at the bottom of the brown bag, there were red wrapped Reese cups and Hersey kisses , for tomorrow being valentines day! They are so thoughtful and kind! I will be recommending this place to everyone I can! DO NOT PASS UP THIS GREAT FOOD!!!!“
“For $14 (via Uber Eat), cháo lòng is excellent! Forgot to take a picture. No bad smell from the intestines (which is really hard to achieve). Generous portion of meat and clean bean sprout, with a side of quẩy. Not a lot of places in Dorchester can rock an excellent cháo lòng. One thing I'd suggest, a side of small fish sauce and thai chili comes with it, to make it more authentic. Bánh canh cua is ok, 8/10, will get it when I desperately crave for it. Will come back.“
“We had a wonderful experience at Elsie’s Table. The food, drinks, and service were excellent. Great value and we will definitely go back. We had the Caesar salad, fig prosciutto flatbread, bolognese, and crème brûlée and it was all very good.Kid-friendliness: The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to our toddler.“
