“Capital Grill is consistently good, however Peter our server took it to a new level. He treats guests like family, goes way above and beyond. He doesn’t miss a detail and makes you feel special. We even thanked the manager in the way out. It didn’t end there, a minute later at my car - out comes Peter to bring out my coat that I forgot. Peter is as good as it gets.“

“This place is the best authentic Italian restaurant in the area, hands down. You won't find chicken parm on the menu, which is perfect in my opinion. The service is awesome because it's a family business and they all genuinely care. The ambiance reminds me of a typical place you would find in one of the little hill towns in Italy. The chef and owner will accommodate any requests within reason! Love this place!“

“I love this place. My friends introduced it to me when I first moved to the area and my husband, son, and I have been going ever since. They do dollar oysters every day until 5:30pm, which is hard to find these days. It's the best deal in town! We also love the poutine and there's usually a few great local/seasonal beers on draft. Great atmosphere and the guys who work here are friendly, efficient, and helpful. Highly recommend!“
“One of the best lobster rolls I've ever had! Fantastic service and a great selection of items- you can't go wrong with the lobster mac and cheese whether it's dine in or to go. Burke's is my go-to, special occasion meal but I look for any opportunity to visit!“

“One of the hidden gem in Dorchester area for Cajun seafood. Fresh and live seafood. Crawfish was big. All food was hot and freshly made. This restaurant is better than Loui cap’t. We ordered crawfish, shrimp and mussel with cajun flavor. Fried clamp strip. So good! Must try udon noodle with cajun sauce. No free tap water though. Definitely coming back.“

“For $14 (via Uber Eat), cháo lòng is excellent! Forgot to take a picture. No bad smell from the intestines (which is really hard to achieve). Generous portion of meat and clean bean sprout, with a side of quẩy. Not a lot of places in Dorchester can rock an excellent cháo lòng. One thing I'd suggest, a side of small fish sauce and thai chili comes with it, to make it more authentic. Bánh canh cua is ok, 8/10, will get it when I desperately crave for it. Will come back.“

“? On Wednesday evening, I ventured to Cap’t Loui in Braintree with my brother and his girlfriend, eager to explore the buzz surrounding this chain restaurant. Despite not being a fervent seafood enthusiast—despite hailing from New England—I approached the experience with an open mind.? Our evening kicked off with their cocktail pouch drinks, an unexpected delight that masked their potency dangerously well. Definitely a must-try! 8/10. Now, onto the pièce de résistance—the seafood boil! The seafood boil has endless options from lobster, clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari etc. We got the shrimp and snow crab, drenched in their signature Capt Loui sauce. The customizable experience was a true delight! We also opted for corn and potatoes as our sides and made everything medium spice level (although you could go higher!) It’s messy, it’s interactive, but oh-so-worth it for the explosion of flavors! 8/10. Remember your bib and gloves to keep the sauce at bay!? As a delightful diversion, we sampled their garlic noodles—oozing with garlic and cheese—perfect for those seeking an alternative to seafood. 8/10.? And let’s not forget the crispy fried fish and chips basket, where each bite was a symphony of flavors, especially when paired with their Cajun tartar sauce. A solid 8/10.? Wrapping up our culinary journey, we indulged in the funnel cake fries with ice cream, a divine and shareable finale to our meal. 8/10.? In summary, Cap’t Loui offers a unique dining adventure even for those not fully immersed in the seafood scene. With locations in Braintree and Stoneham, it’s an experience worth embarking on.Food: 8/10 Affordability: 7/10 Ambiance: 8/10“

“A solid step above your typical pub grub, this cozy spot is great for date night or gathering with friends. Nice vibe, creative menu, decent service. We enjoyed the pistachio chicken and blackened pasta entrees. Their desserts are also terrific. Service was good, despite our waitress pulling double duty behind the bar. On street parking was plentiful.“
“Big scoops and wallet friendly, this Quincy institution brings together nostalgia and classic ice cream flavors. The ice cream is pretty standard - no crazy flavors and none of the extra creaminess you get from freshly made ice cream. However, it still hits the spot in a hot day when you want to hit up an old school ice cream stand. They have a few parking spaces in the front but it can be tough to navigate on a busy day.“

“I seriously miss this place and would come here every week if it was down the street from me! This spot is such a hidden gem, we loved every item we ordered from here! This is the first Vietnamese Restaurant I've seen in Boston to serve Mi Quang and DAMN was it FRICKEN GOOD! The egg noodles were just chewy enough and the sauce and broth were such a good complement to one another that this may just be my favorite Viet dishWe also ordered the Pho Dac Biet (Pho Special) and the broth tasted so pure, it was just simply fantastic. In addition, we also ordered beef summer rolls which were pretty great too. The restaurant itself seems family owned since it seemed like many locals were walking in and also chatting with the owner. It's about small-medium sized inside, but definitely can still fit a good number of tables. Waiter was very kind and made sure our table felt cared for despite all the tables he had to take care of himself! Can't wait to come back again! What we ordered:- Mi Quang (A MUST)- Pho Dac Biet (Pho Special)- Beef Summer Rolls“

“Just grabbed our first pizza from Neko’s! Not only can you get any kind of pizza, you can tell the owner really cares about his customers and his business. The Sicilian pizza was to die for, came out hot and on time. Neko is absolutely hysterical and a great guy. I highly recommend this place, any pizza, and we will be back!“

“Great little out of the way restaurant! The Mexican Street Corn Dip is incredible. My French Dip had A LOT of gristle, but Linda, our bartender/server, had them make me another one, and it was perfect. My husband had the Chicken Noodle soup and the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich and loved both. If we get a chance, we will go back.“

“Wonderful food and atmosphere. Waited 20 minutes to order but food was worth the wait. The turkey dinner was delicious and my father in law liked his stuffed haddock. It was a little weird when we asked for takeout boxes, our server kept insisting on packing up our food for us instead of us packing it up ourselves. After we politely explained that it’s nothing personal it’s just our preference she brought us our boxes. We will definitely be back.“
“Great Jazz on Sunday night at 8 p.m. the people who prepared the meal very pleasant, there is a bar there and the person there was pleasant and friendly. The food good the fried plantain was nice and fish. Over all adequate space and a lot of people don't realize even me, even though I lived in Codman Square area but worked at FCAC for years there is functioning hall for parties or shower. As a alumni of FCAC the meeting with fellow workers was quite productive at this establishment great time held by all.“
“The only proper rating for Capt Marden's is a five. This company and restaurant have the freshest seafood available publicly. There are many cities providing live catches to local buyers in Eastern MA. Capt. Marden's sources the best fish, regardless of who caught it.A lot of people do not realize how many of the finest restaurants source their seafood from Captain Marden's too. They have refrigerator trucks delivering fresh catch to many local places. If you are near Wellesley, the small restaurant serves the best dine-in and takeout around for a very fair price!“

“General thoughts: Great authentic Dim SumCons: Cash onlyWhen this place opened, i remember the food being good with very cheap prices.Since then, this place has exploded in popularity, and food prices have increased... But i also think the food/menu has gotten better as well. They've even added vegan dim sum items, which aren't just steamed vegetables.Wish they would bring water to tables and accept credit card - but otherwise, no complaints. Another great restaurant in Quincy, glad to see this place thriving.“

“Food was wonderful though portions were average size for the price point. But overall really good! Our server was excellent, but once it started getting busier and their was not enough staff at the time the attentiveness of service dissipated. Overall, I would go back again as the experience was excellent“

“Everything I have eaten there has been absolutely delicious. Great flavoring for tacos, soup and nachos. The workers are patient. Expect to wait for a while during high season but waiting with a view of the ocean makes it easier. Know there is no indoor seating really.“

“I love the food in this place but the environment is not all that great, they need to upgrade on the decor, parking is minimal only a few spots out front for two hours and there is a parking lot about 3 mins walk away. For four people they gave us on little fry box with popcorn with no refills??♀️so whiles waiting we can have 6 popcorn kernels between us, but with all the down side the food is great and price is reasonable, will visit againKid-friendliness: They have high chairs but not really kid friendly“

“If you are ever in the Boston area, just drive 15 miles south to Quincy, to have a MEMORABLE dining experience! It was hands-down, the BEST food we had in the area! If we were in Boston longer, we WOULD have had the rest of our meals at Tony's! All my life I have had great seafood up & down the West Coast, but NEVER did I have 'fried perfection' like Tony's! The fried clam strips, were so masterfully prepared, they were practically 'dry' from cooking oil! I haven't experienced THAT before, EV-AH (wink-wink)! It was also the tastiest clam chowder I have had in my life, LOADED with clams! I'm not a great fan of sweet potato fries, but after sampling my husbands, I kept pinching them off his plate, here and there. . . They tasted caramelized inside, which made them delectable. SO delicious in fact, that I snagged one of the cooks and asked how they were prepared. He said that they fry them LONGER (very high heat) to indeed caramelize them. I asked about the history of Tony's, and he shared that Tony was Lebanese, and that (since he has passed away) his family operates the restaurant as they have for decades. What a wonderful INSTITUTION Quincy has! :) The restaurant itself is very clean, organized and there is outside dining on a beautiful patio, facing the sea. Sigh. I realize that different cooks on different days, can give different results. And I had read a couple reviews from a few 'soreheads' that weren't happy with their meal, but that is the EXCEPTION and not the rule apparently. I'm seriously thinking about inquiring if they ship overnight, because there's nothing on my side of the country that compares to it.“

“Went here in a group of 4. We got the miso ramen, kimchi ramen, 2 chicken katsu, shrimp tempura, & cheesecakes & fried ice cream. The food was really good all around. We had some mishaps with the cheesecakes but the manager was really kind & fixed it for us free of charge. It took us a while to get checked out, but they were understandably very busy. I would come back for the food & atmosphere.“

“We had a great date night there last Saturday. Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic, fresh, tasty and delicious. Awesome drinks as well. Our server was ok, did her job and came to check on us enough but she was not as friendly as we would have liked, she was just disengaged. Other than that excellent service all around from everyone else at this restaurant, as always. Thank you!“

“It was my first time at the restaurant, and I enjoyed the ambiance. a touch loud, but not overly so. I would return because the food was rather delicious. My only gripe was that our waiter wasn't paying enough attention. Fortunately, other people were serving the food. I also had to ask for my side salad. Perhaps it was a rough night for her. I would definitely go back because there was a lot of food on the menu that I wanted to try.“

“Came here unplanned since we dropped off something from a store close by. The husband was hungry so he made a quick stop at this restaurant. It was not busy so the food was given to us in a timely manner. Shared some with his food and it was good. Made fresh and hot. We even ate outside even if it was cold. Maybe we will come back next time when we're in the area“
