Found this spot on yelp and the reviews were good. After a day of walking around Boston and it's proximity to our hotel we decided on an early dinner. Place was empty when we walked in. Not encouraging. We were warmly greeted. My wife ordered the fish and chips and I had the chicken parm sandwich. Both came out shortly later and were excellent. Only one bartender/server there but he was very attentive and friendly to all who entered. As we're leaving I noticed photos on the wall of Presidents Truman and Kennedy and got an extensive history lesson on both from the bartender/server. It was excellent. What great find.

I've been coming to Iron Side on Friday nights and there's always great energy. They have a good beer selection and the food never disappoints. Most recently, I tried the fish tacos which were perfect. But I think the best thing is the staff. Abla and Shannon are always so helpful, attentive and just great people! It's a great place to hang out and I'm definitely coming back.

Live right down the street from this local watering hole and while I have only been in once it a nice place to have a beverage and some food. We stopped in on super bowl Sunday and were able to sit and have a few drinks. We had already eaten down the street but the menu is pretty big and the food I saw come out looked pretty good. Service it great, the owners are generally there to welcome you and the bar itself is two tiered and a nice place to sit.

Looking for a quick place to grab lunch nearby the U.S.S. Constitution, my large group and I stumbled into this restaurant which was completely empty on a Sunday afternoon. The place is set up like a sports bar with huge TVs and sports memorabilia decorating the walls, so I could see it getting pretty crowded on a game day. The menu consisted of your typical American fare. After people started receiving their food, the waitress came out to tell someone in my party that they did not have portobello mushrooms for the burger. Five minutes later, she also informed someone else that their item was no longer in stock. Please keep in mind that we had already ordered about twenty minutes ago, and many others were mid-way through their meal. After eating (I got the chicken fingers and fries which were average), it also took a long time to flag down the waitress (we were the only people in this restaurant) for the bill. Although the food was mediocre, my largest gripe with this place had to be the service mentioned above.

Disgusting food. Got a turkey burger which looked great, until I took a bite and got a huge piece of what I think was plastic.... they're also frozen. Our waitress was too busy talking to another group for at least 30 minutes so we couldn't even tell her. Apps were frozen and just as gross. Horrible service.

My wife and I stopped here late Sunday morning. We loved it. Neighborhood atmosphere with excellent service, very good food and the coldest draft beer (with frosted glass) we've had in a very long time.

Came here for Brunch on a Sunday morning while in town. A little skeptical to try due to the low rating but decided to give it a try since it was very close to our hotel and we had walked by it several times and seemed like a great spot! Got a peach/oj/cran mimosa that was amazing! Was not disappointed when my French toast came out either! Hit the spot and was delicious. Wish we had tried this spot sooner in the vacation!
