I order lunch from this restaurant and when I got the food it wasn't what I had ordered. They gave me lower costing food items that were not even the same price. I will never order from them again. Horrible business owner. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell me that they didn't have what I ordered and ask me if I wanted to cancel the order or pick another food items. Millie P.

UNBEATABLE. So grateful I found this place! Go, order the Pernil (roast pork) with rice, and a tres leche cake. Total was $15/16. The pork was tender, and the servings were enough to feed me for 2 meals. A meal like this in Boston would be $25 lol The woman was lovely. The first time I came, I asked to use the restroom before offering to buy anything and they said of course, and let me use the bathroom past the kitchen! I was not expecting that. The food stations I walked past were clean and organized, and ingredients looked fresh. I will make this my go to place for lunch.

Let me start by saying I couldn't be more grateful that this place is around , I myself love Puerto Rican food And I couldn't be more satisfied with the food here today!!! I got a little bit of everything and man the ladies here did not disappoint, I found this gem on TikTok as I was searching everywhere for a authentic restaurant and I can't express enough how thankful I am ! Prices are so inexpensive for the quality! It is woman owned and these aides are some bosss ladies ! The tres leches is amazing And the flan please stop what ur doing and go ! They deliver and food is so fresh again I am picky because my mother in law is puertorican and her food is what made me fall in love with the puertorican cuisine Thank you to the Bella Isla family

The place changed ownership before the pandemic started and the food is not longer the same.I tried the food under current administration and the rice was too hard and dry. I decided to try it again over and over but the rice is still bad and the chicken always dry. I believe is due to the fact that they don't know how to use the food warmer and the food gets dry from seating there for too long.The only thing that it's ok are the puertorican pastelillos or empanadillas.

I'm writing this review strictly as a VEGAN. We called the restaurant ahead of time and asked if we could have mofongo without meat or fish, since we don't eat meat. Asked if we could have it with beans. Lady said, of course, we can make it however you want. We go there, we ask again, she remembers talking to us on the phone. We ask again if we can have with no meat, just beans. She says no problem, and the kitchen gets started on making the mofongo. My husband has a nearly 10min conversation with her about veganism (she was very curious). The mofongo is ready. We ask for the beans. She reaches for it, then says, "oh but it has pork." FOR REAL? So I'm having dry a** mofongo with NOTHING. Not even a salad because even the salad has fish in it. Paid for a dry a** ball of platanos. Also ---- it does not taste like mofongo. If you've actually had mofongo, just by looking at it, you know. After tasting it, you're absolutely sure.

OMG, this was the most terrible food I’ve had. The rice was hard and with no flavor, the chicken was dry, and the maduros so greasy. The pernil had a bad taste to it. This was a waste of our money. We paid $34 and threw it all out. These people should stop having a restaurant. Disgusting!!
