Kushala Sip Coffee House is a beautiful, clean spot offering a great selection of food and beverages. I ordered a hot Café Latte and a Spanish omelette, and both exceeded expectations. The latte came in a generous glass mug, while the omelette was perfection with layers of thinly sliced potato. The ambiance was serene, with other patrons enjoying their Sunday morning over relaxing bossa nova music. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy quality food and drink. Highly recommend! It’s so nice to see that Chelsea is finally Gentrifying.

There was a very soulful and fine guitar player filling the attractive, open space with with the songs of Central and South America. A warmth and feeling of community abounded. The food was great and i'd never had grasshopper tacos before!

This gem is my go-to cafe. The food and drinks are delicious and they have healthy and unique options. It is very clean, cute, and they play good music. The staff and owner are very friendly. It's a great cafe for reading/working as it doesn't get too loud.

I have been meaning to stop by here for a while, finally made it in the morning. Place is really nice, looked pretty clean & also nice vibe. The staff was helpful, she was able to answer my questions. I ordered the iced New Orleans coffee. It comes with simple syrup, half & half. I skipped the syrup as I normally don’t add sugar. Coffee was really good, nice & strong like I like it, next time I’ll skip the half & half & get milk instead. I ordered a blueberry scone, delish! Crunchy but soft & not too sweet. I think the coffee was pricey $6+ for a medium ? but I guess nowadays that’s common. I would like to come back & try the breakfast!

Ok so it feels crazy that this place has been here for almost a year and I just now discovered it... Came in on a snowy Saturday night and am so glad we ventured out! It definitely has strong coffee house vibes, but the food is amazing! A lot of places in the Eastie/Chelsea area offer pan-Latin "tapas", but some fall a little flat... but not this! We started the carrot hummus, which had nice crispy hazelnuts and whipped feta. Super tasty-- I could have done with a little more salt/acid/brine, but super solid. Next we had the pulpo de la plancha, with papas bravas -- not tough, super flavorful; again, my palate could have used a touch of finishing salt, but just my preference. We also had the mole grasshopper tacos, sopes, and beef empanadas. So, first time eating grasshoppers... the mole sauce was so good you could have put it on a shoe and it would have been delicious, but I actually tried some of the grasshoppers by themselves, and they were crunchy and salty and kinda great! Plus the homemade blue corn tortillas were amaaaaazing. Which was a theme -- the tortillas, the sopes, and the empanadas-- the cook on the masa was what made each of these items stand out. Perfectly crispy, didn't fall apart, well seasoned-- this can make or break (and often breaks!!) these dishes, but every item here was perfection. I wasn't totally clear if they had a cordial license or a full license-- my guess is cordial, but our drinks were pretty great. Standouts were the Spanish G&T with chamomile syrup, and the Oaxacan Old Fashioned. We had great service every step of the way. They have reallllly good looking coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches, and desserts-- and they assured me that everything can be made with decaf which is important for this grandma-at-heart. Overall, so glad we stopped in, and can't wait to try everything else!

Been driving past this place for the last year, not knowing it existed. Boy were we missing out! We did a bunch of shareable items. Empeñadas. Grilled octopus, hummus, sopes and grasshopper tacos. The tacos use homemade tortillas that were excellent - and the mole sauce was a gamechanger Cocktails were tasty and well balanced. Service was warm, friendly and inviting. Atmosphere was really cozy with all the Edison lights. There was also live music - amazing Latin singer doing folk songs on guitar. Very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, amazing underrated spot.

What a fantastic spot! The food and service were outstanding. I opted for the breakfast burrito, and it was absolutely delicious. Transitioning into a tapas bar at night and a cozy coffee shop during the day adds to its charm. The ambiance is delightful, and Chelsea could definitely use more gems like this. I'm thrilled they decided to open here. Will be visiting again soon!
