I can personally vouch to confirm pretty much EVERYTHING service, food, and management about this place is true! 14 years of experience. I was hired and worked there for ONE shift back in February and can say it was by far the WORST experience. The fish is never fresh because that display is for show and no one broke down fish that shift, there's a microwave on Garde Manger (cold station,) no one there has ANY experience! I missed a drink ingredient and was yelled at by a server to make it again, she later expressed she wanted to be a bartender, I asked "whats in a Manhattan?" Her reply "a what?," both Zoi and Alex haven't the slightest clue from the previous managers 6 months prior, the reason your orders/food is screwed up...the POS system is legit outdated and inoperable to the point it's negligent, everyone was so rude, cold, dismissive, you name it! I was put behind the bar with ZERO guidance, and to top it all off the straight up racism from Zoi when she threatened to call the cops on me when I attempted to collect my check (of course i notified her a week in advance of me coming.)

We decided to do date night here on Saturday evening. The interior design was gorgeous and the live entertainment was cute. “Fancy Mediterranean” so we had high expectations on our meals. We ordered Limani Chips, 1/2 dozen oysters, lamb chops and filet mignon kebabs and a couple of drinks. The Limani chips were stacked up on top of the tzatziki sauce which was interesting considering you had to shove all the chips aside to get to the sauce, it was ok but not to die for. The lamb chop and filet kebabs were overcooked when we asked for medium. Also, NO CONDIMENTS whatsoever for dry hard fries!!! Our server was attentive, but when it came to running our food it took a while especially the greek fried dough dessert. We appreciated the manager visiting our table, but due to the high disappointment and slow service, we just wanted to pay the tab and leave. The bill was overpriced for something you can easy pick up at down the street from your local takeout on a busy night. Not worth the price or “hype”.

Delicious food! Service was exceptional! Waiter and other staff were attentive and took empty plates right away and filled water glasses when just about empty. Made great choice pairings when asked.

Our first time here for my sister‘s birthday celebration. The staff and service were excellent and food was just fantastic. She had the lobster roll. I had the tomato, tomato salad and Greek potatoes. My husband had a Mezz platter, cheeseburger, and we shared a walnut cake for dessert. This restaurant is outstanding. The ambience is just beautiful. We will be back.

Had another wonderful experience dining at Limani last night! Sat at the spacious bar and had the most delicious cucumber cosmo martini prepared by Dimani! We shared the sea bass which was moist and delicious with the grilled vegetables that was a nice large portion and tasted very yummy The manager Zoe was very attentive and friendly and made sure we were satisfied with our experience Can't wait to go back again !

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Oysters to start and the Lamb for an entree. Hands down, some of the best food I've had recently! The General Manager, Zoi, even stopped by to ensure our experience was memorable.

For some reason my team Showed up for a reservation today for 3 qnd was told there was no reservation even though i have it under my a count this was a business lunch so not really odeal when you cannot honor them

Super service always and food excellent and fresh. I have strict restrictions as to sodium intact, and I am pleased that Limani's chef has been able to comply. Hadji, our favorite waiter, communicates very well the kitchen staff to make sure I can enjoy my food.

We had been disappointed last year after a fabulous opening few months. We came back for a "trial" in February & found new management (Zoe) had restored the culinary & service to its outstanding original standards! Confident, I invited friends for a delicious lunch: grilled, tender octopus & a variety of perfectly seasoned dips; grilled whole deboned Loupe de Mer, and karidopita (ground walnut cake drizzled with honey syrup) & ice cream! Service attentive, not intrusive, including a warm welcome from Zoe. Greek hospitality & light background music transported us from a rainy NE day to the shores of the Aegean!!!!

Atmosphere is absolutely beautiful!! Food was very very fresh and good the only thing I can say negatively would be the entree's were not hot hot when we got them the fish was Room Temperature?? Other than that the experience was great & I will definitely return.... The BEST Desserts ever.... OMG!!

staff were very attentive once sat and made sure that any questions about the menu were answered accurately. there was a trainee who insisted we speak to a more experienced bartender which i loved. thankfully, we were able to give our compliments directly to the chef for the octopus and salmon bites. drinks were phenomenal with the bartender Hec (sp?) being very accommodating and knowledgeable. would 100% love to return.

Having lived in Toronto’s famed Greektown for years, I have eaten at a wide range of Mediterranean restaurants from traditional to nouveux. Limani really blends the best of classic with a modern take. My food was delicious and served by attentive staff (I loved the service) and the space is beautful. I highly recommend the fixed price menu..a great value. When in Chestnut Hill you really need to give this place a visit!

Limani loses a star for service, and two for food. We were a party of four and this was our first visit. We were seated promptly, and the waitress was ready to serve our table. Drinks order in, for appetizers I ordered the Limani salad to share, and our friends ordered the Shrimp Cocktail to share. The salad came first, one bowl which we divided at the table for ourselves, then waited for the second appetizer. The shrimp came after an awkwardly long wait. With only two dishes, and one a tossed salad, there's no reason the two appetizers couldn't be served at the same time. The same thing happened, though with a shorter delay, with the entrees, which drives the service problem. We had three salmon entrees and a filet mignon kebab. One diner has a gluten allergy so asked for the salmon to be served plain, which it was. The other two orders came with a puddle of melted butter, very oily, but the real problem was that all three entrees were just warm, and cold by the time finished. The filet mignon kebab was disappointing, tough and grizzly, with lots cut away and left on the plate. The room is attractive, but the fish and seafood display in the center of the room is not.The dining room is upstairs. We didn't notice an elevator so handicapped guests should check. There is lots of mall parking. Vegetarian and gluten free diners could find enough on the menu, children too. No comment on the menu prices, as inflation is rampant.
