Anytime I'm around the area I'll stop in to grab a couple of the fish tacos and it's always good. Next time plan on treating myself with their lobster roll

Great food and fantastic service! The fish tacos and onion rings are fabulous. Unfortunately they had to give up the space they once had but just park at River Valley co-op and walk in front through outdoor picnic tables and you will arrive at the cute Captain Jack Shack!

We were looking for a spot to get a lobster roll while we were traveling through the area, and we chose Captain Jack's. It was DELICIOUS! So good and so glad we stopped. The roll was packed with lobster, and the fries were great too. You order at the window, and all the tables and seating are outside. They call your name when your order is ready. We didn't have to wait too long, and it was a beautiful day so it was nice to sit outside. Definitely stop here for a lobster roll!

Very casual carry out only w/ outside picnic tables. Didnt even look at anything but fried seafood. Hubbie got fish + chips- big portion of fish/ great light batter/skinny but good fries, alsi plentiful. I got clam bellies, fries+slaw for$27. Good sized portion, tasted great. Place is in town, but surrounded by plants, so fairly private. Be aware- its Behind the food co-op- you might never see it otherwise.

Holy Wow! This place is a do.not.miss! As others have mentioned, it's a little tricky to find. It's at the local food co-op. Park and go to the front door of the co-op and then you will see it between there and the road all the way toward the back. There is an enormous amount of outdoor picnic table seating. We ordered the famous lobster roll with fries and a clam basket . The Lobster roll is enough to feed two people, especially with the fries. We saw many people order food to go, but proceeded to eat there and take the rest home. The clam basket was also fantastic-- whole belly clams delicately fried-- so fresh and delicious! These were my favorite but only because it seems to rare to get such high quality whole belly clams. I do wish they had cocktail sauce, but they do not (and honestly, wasn't really missed). We ordered the onion straws with the clam basket, and if I lived near here, I would order them once a week just to sprinkle on vegetables, salads, etc. Soooooo good and light. The above with two drinks and a 20% tip came to $65. Considering that if we weren't just passing through town we could have easily had 4 meals from this, it was such a great deal! We are in New England yearly and Captain Jack's is already on our list of must return locations.

One of my requests during my visit to Massachusetts was to visit this place. We lucked out and it was empty. Plenty of outdoor seating and no line.I knew I wanted the lobster roll. My husband went a little crazy and ordered fish tacos and fish and chips as well. Daughter in law had the clam sandwich. So much food! Expensive but I feel like it was worth it. Quality seafood. Delicious!Perfect visit. So glad we came.

The food is awesome! The fried scallops were as good as I've ever had. I thought I might be on Cape Cod instead of Easthampton, MA!Just wish they had chowder in the summer!

What can you say ? Hands-down my favorite lobster roll ever. But that is just the beginning. The onion straws/rings are out of this world. They are worth the trip by themselves. Keep up the good work love this place.

We ordered 3 items. LA Chicken sandwich, fish & chips & a lobster roll. All 3 were excellent. Shoestring fries were also great. Everything was fresh even 20 minutes before closing.
