I wanted to update my review from last September. I have been to Betty Anns numerous times since then and fortunately have not had a reoccurrence of the past issues. Possibly I experienced growing pains of new employees and the new shop/location. Subs seem to be now filled with reasonable amounts of fresh ingredients and service is friendly and professional. Pete has the place back up to quality and quantity. Tuna is the star of the show although personally an Italian is hard to beat. Now if we could just get the prices back to those of the 70's

My Cuban was delicious. My husband got the meatball sub and was disappointed as the meatballs had a strange flavor, he only ate half. I tasted it and had to agree it was unusual and not to our liking.

I have it 2 stars because both times I have been here the service was good. Also the gluten free options was a plus.I went there before the opening of the new store and my hubby and I were not impressed by the food then.Today I went to there new store, I got the turkey stuffing sandwhich with cran mayo wrap.Well it is a cold, cold sandwhich all the way thru. It sat cold and heavy on my stomach half way thru the wrap. Mostly due to the extreme cold of the stuffing. The cranberry mayo was just cranberry sauce. No mayo or taste of it at all.I think with mayo added to cranberry sauce or just call it cranberry sauce and mayo.I also think if the stuffing was warm when putting the sandwhich together the experance of eating this wrap would of been much better. Not the best but at least average.Kaffmandu Coffee House turkey gobble is the better choice.

Food is great, staff is sufficient but the place has never to this day offered nay trash cans and I have zero idea why and it smells like burnt oil all the time. Had to have them and my dad bring food as the smell was so off. Also why do I have to throw my trash in a bucket - would a barrel be too much of an investment

This place has the BEST tuna sandwich I have ever eaten!! The place has been in business in Danvers for over 70 years and is still a family owned business. Owner Pete has not changed the recopies because, well why mess with something that is perfect? The new store at 20 Locust St is clean and modern but the food is old school and delicious. My family loves this place. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Service was good. Place was clean. Couple of seats outside when it's not raining.A list of topping options would be nice for people like me who can't think from one end of a sandwich to the other.Decent amount of food for the price, not a ton of meat, but ok. Toppings were fresh. Lettuce was kinda the main flavor, I'll have to make sure they super load the condiments if there's a next time. The turkey didn't really have a flavor, even by itself. The ham was forgotten from my turkey and ham, but I had to run and didn't check before I left, my bad, stuff happens.

There is no better sub shop around. Customer service is always top notch and the quality of meats and sub rolls are a 10/10. I got catering trays for a party I had. The subs came cut in perfect size with all the fixings on the side. Fresh tomatoes, onions and shredded lettuce with containers of pickles hots and oils. The price was more than reasonable. Because all the fixings are on the side, left overs are possible ( nothing is soggy). I will be using them for all my party needs in the future and you should too!

Must be a shortage of baguettes and deli meat since the sign read 'sold out' and door locked despite being normal business hrs.

Laid back sub shop. We love our new location and so excited to be back up and running! We have mostly cold subs, but we do have meatball subs, Reuben and pastrami. We love what we do and try our best to please everyone. We get busy and sometimes cannot answer the phone, give us a few and call back. We also changed hours Monday - Sunday 10am-6pm.

Love the retro Pepsi sign and branded soda. Great location. Sub was nasty - very little meat. Almost like a shredded lettuce and mayonnaise sandwich.(I specifically asked for very little mayo.)

Not as good ad it use to be! Got the Tuna sub half of the Tuna it use to be. So it turned out dry. Damb shame was a great place. Not sure what happened.

We waited for 5 mins at the counter before anyone would acknowledge our presence. In those 5 mins, we saw the person making sandwich sneeze j directly over his work table. The cashier handling the phone, picked and cut the bread without washing his hands or wearing gloves. We decided to turn around and leave the place.
